work as it should
My PS4 remove stopped charging. The contacts on the ribbon cable were broken. I used this kit to replace the ribbon cable and it's back to charging as it should. I don't need the charging port, so now it's just a spare part in case I ever need it. It was too difficult to find the ribbon cable by itself, even at digikey or mouser since I didn't know exact specs of the original cable.Ribbon cable works and is good quality. I can't say much about the charging port, but it looks to be good quality as far as the PCB board and solder. Very simple circuit so it's hard to mess up.

Installed and works great.

Does not work
My son broke the charger port on the ps4 controller so i purchased this and replaced it. It does not charge after both port and ribbon being replaced.
