DIY Create Personalized Recordable Musical Card - Blank Card

I have used two of these so far and I absolutely love them. Completely blank canvas to get creative with, the recording device works just as described, easy to follow instructions included. Absolutely love this, ordering more to have just in case I need them.

I had such high hopes for this product and couldn't have been more disappointed. The concept is cool, record what audio you want and make your own custom card. Turns out my audio unit was faulty and the audio I recorded on it sounded "crunchy" and not very clear at all. I thought maybe it was my source so I tried recording from 3 different sources and I kept having the same issue. I contacted the seller and while I think their solution might have worked for them (they told me to buy another one and expedite the shipping and they would refund my money) it just didn't work for me because of a time issue. I might try them again in the future, but next time I will allow a LOT more time in advance for exchange of faulty recording units.

Really great product. The instructions were simple, the speaker is loud enough and if you're capable of precision sticker placement, you can mount it in the card to get it to work properly. The only tricky part is getting it to the exact spot so when the card opens it plays and when it closes, it stops.I wish I could order so many of these, but the shipping is a bit pricey per unit.

So unfortunate. I recorded my message, and when I unplugged the recording cable from the device, the little piece that connects the two broke off immediately. I was extremely careful with it, I wasn't rough with it at all and it was so easily broken. I was supposed to use it as part of a birthday surprise to my boyfriend for concert tickets to go see his favorite band, and that whole idea got ruined as soon as the device broke. I could still hear the song even after the piece broke off, but it was full of static and I couldn't even hear the song I had playing in the background. And it wasn't my surroundings or the video I recorded off of because I recorded in a quite area and the video was great quality. I hate leaving bad ratings on products, but I highly think this product is not worth it at all based on how much I paid for it and how cheaply it worked.

I highly recommend going to their website after you purchase this set. There are videos that explain how to record on the module and set up the card. Very easy to do. Hardest part for me was drawing on the card which took about four hours but everything else was quick and easy.

There's nothing special about the blank card. I purchased just for the DIY recording device. Tried recording off of multiple devices with the same outcome. Recording was very quiet and filled with static. I would have been okay if it was quiet and clear quality or even loud enough to hear with static. Waste of time and money.

My husband purchased this card for mother's day. He recorded a message from my two-year-old son, and let him color a picture inside. Very effective; I totally cried. I'll cherish it forever.

Recorded the song the first time, but it wasn't loud enough so I recorded it again. Same thing. The third and fourth times I tried to record, nothing recorded. Then, like someone else had happen, the audio port broke off. The whole thing is a total waste now. Way too expensive for how cheap the device to record is.
