Take it before bed, not waking up with stabby eyes. Weird flavor.
I have, over the last few years, woken up anywhere from the middle of the night to ROUGHLY the time I'd expect to get up with the sensation of something jabbing me in one or both eyes, which sets my eyes off to watering so much that I simply cannot see to accomplish much of anything until the pain finally goes away. Quite ironic to learn that dry eyes may be the culprit... though perhaps not all that surprising given the number of things I'm allergic to that affect the eyes (eg seasonal allergies and dust). In the past I've relied on ice packs to help with this, with mixed results. The cold can help soothe the pain but sometimes my body heat just warms up the pack enough that I have to use multiple packs before I can fall asleep again. And once, the problem--not even the pain itself, but specifically the watering--lasted so long that I had to call in sick to work, and subsequently visited urgent care (where it was diagnosed as an ocular migraine, though I've since heard other meanings of that term) so I could get something strong enough to take care of it in the hopes I wouldn't need to call in a second day in a row.Heated masks seem to help me more than ice packs during a flare-up... but when I encountered this I decided to give it a try to see if could PREVENT the problem. Well, hard to say for sure if it works when the problem occurs randomly in the first place, but I haven't had any stabby pain since I started taking it, so since I'm not experiencing any unpleasant side effects I'm willing to keep at it until the bottle's gone. Given the price I would see if an ordinary Omega 3 supplement has a similar effect or if I truly need all of the other nutrients this provides to make it work.Your mileage may vary (hyperactive gag reflexes and all) but I find it easy to swallow, being one of those gelatin-covered capsules. The flavor is weird; the color keeps making me expect something peppery but whatever it tastes like I can't actually place it--it isn't fishy, or at least not like any fish or fish-based supplement that I'm familiar with, it's just WEIRD.

Worked For Me But May Vary For Others/Little Amount And Pricey/Omega-3 Fish Oil/Good
I’ve decided to rate this product four stars, but was hesitant. It worked for me, but I think it may vary for others. You get 60 soft gels (serving size is 2 softgels for 30 servings per container.) I enjoyed the product because it provides Omega-3 Fish Oil which is important; it is one of our daily supplements. The vitamins help for dry eye and overall comfort. The reason I deducted one star was because of the cost. You only get 60 soft gels and must take 2 per day. I am always looking for vitamins with more quantity; I still rated four stars because it worked for me, and I noticed the difference. I would still recommend it and give it a try.

No discernible difference detected
Sometimes I think I expect too much and can be too harsh in my reviews. Then, I consider the time and money spent on certain products and realize that, nah, I'm probably not. That's the case with these dry-eye support capsules. I took these -- as directed -- for a 30-day period, and I have noticed no change in my dry-eye symptoms. I wasn't expecting a miracle cure, but I was hoping to see at least a slight bit of improvement. However, I did not. I work in a dry environment and use a computer monitor several hours a day, so I'm susceptible to dry-eye symptoms -- itching, burning and occasional blurriness until I blink my eyes. This product seemed to have no affect after the 30 days were up. I'm still experiencing the same symptoms and to the same degree. Honestly, the only thing that seems to help me are using eye drops, and of course that's only a temporary fix.Another thing I would mention is to be sure and take this with some food. I made the mistake a few times of taking this after skipping breakfast and I had some stomach discomfort and what felt like acid reflux.I'm giving this four stars just for the fact that it does (allegedly) contain some Omega 3's/fish oils that can be beneficial to the body in ways beyond just moisturizing the ol' peepers. So, not all is bad. It's a decent supplement to take anyway. I considered giving this only 3 stars because of the price, but then again, what isn't expensive nowadays, am I right?

This has helped my dry eyes!
I have dry eye and also ectasia (thinning of the cornea from lasik). I recently had cataract surgery with lens replacement. Surgery went well and I believe this product is helping the dry eye.
