PREPWORKS Large Collapsible Tub, Gray

I have been on the hunt for a collapsible sturdy waterproof bin that I could insert my own foot scrubbing mat into for quite some time and FINALLY (thank you Amazon!!!) found one! Too many bins that claimed to multitask as foot sized tubs... don’t. I wear a size 9 women’s shoe and I cannot even imagine how men with far larger feet than mine even deal. Sooooo.... I took a ton of photos and included actual measurements for you as the current product description and manufacturer’s listing do not match. This IS the larger bin, not the standard medium sized one as currently listed. Big feet apply here! The bin is not as deep as actual foot tubs are, but the water level does reach above my ankles which is all I care about. It is sturdy and easy to both open and collapse. It also air dries quickly and can easily be wiped down. (This was the main reason I did not go with one of those insulated bag models.) It also has raised feet on the bottom which helps the water stay hot longer. I can soak for a full 15 minutes and the water is still pretty darn warm. I did not want a fancy electric version... I just wanted something I could use on a daily basis. For anyone with neuropathy out there who just wants a simple daily foot soaking tub, this thing is perfectomundo.Base width at the bottom inside of the tub is a minimum of 11” x 8.5” but quickly angles out, so even if your feet are a little longer than that, they will probably still comfortably fit. The inside height of the tub at an angle is about 6” and I would say the water depth I fill it to is about 5”. The official product measurements are 18” x 14 1/8” (obviously, the outside edges) and they say it holds 3.75 gallons.NOTE: I did NOT try carrying it with water in it, so I cannot attest to that sort of strength test. Someone else will have to vouch for that.I think it also would be a great size for a portable dish tub. You’d be able to get full sized plates in there no problem. I’m sure someone else can add a more detailed review for that use later.HAPPY SOAKING!!!

Like many, I purchased this tub as a pseudo foot bath, and I have to say it works a charm. I work on my feet, mostly in high heels, and I wanted to be able to indulge in the occasional epsom salt soak once in a while. However, I live in a relatively small condo and don't find time to do this often enough to justify an expensive, space-consuming, electric footh bath. This collapses perfectly and gets tucked easily away in a closet between uses, and is just the right depth to submerge my feet up to the ankles. Also perfect for a pre-pedicure pamper!I recommend: one tea kettle boiling water and two similar sized pitchers of room temp water with a handful of salts. Stays a nice warm temperature for about 20 min or so before you start needing to warm it up. But if youre anything like me, after 20 min, you're tired of sitting still. Lol

I have a greek tortoise that needs to be put in a tub and soaked a few times a week. He wants to be able to move around and the slope in the bathroom sink is a problem. Reptiles carry salmonella, I've never had a problem but I still try to avoid putting them in the kitchen sink. I need to be able to empty and refill the tub quickly as he tends to poop while soaking, so filling and emptying and refilling makes the bathtub inconvenient.I needed a tub with a flat bottom, that I could empty and fill quickly, that could be sanitized. There were definitely other, cheaper options that were about the same size. The reason I decided to pick this tub is because it is collapsible.I live in a small apartment. I have too much stuff as it is. But this was an item that I wanted to keep reptile specific. I don't mind putting other animals in it, but it needs to be kept for that reason only. I definitely don't want to be washing my personal food dishes in this. That being said, finding an option that was collapsible and would take up less space was really appealing to me.After getting it, I've considered getting another one, maybe two. This would be the PERFECT foot soaking tub. I could see how this would be helpful for a hundred different things like dishes, food prep, random temporary storage. I've managed to hold off, but I could definitely see myself purchasing a few more of these.My only concern is the quality of the part that collapses. I do have to use sanitizer, I'm not sure how well it will hold up being cleaned like that but we'll see how it goes. So far, I'm pretty thrilled.

We use for foot bath at our spa

This is a very sturdy and well made tub. It pops up and collapses with ease. I’ve used it when I’m cleaning and even to bath my dog!! I’m thinking about purchasing another one in this large size.

I use these in my sink to protect the finish in my on daily basic from scratches and gray marks!

I only took off one star because the inside label have these two strips that I could not get the glue off it’s been over two hours I’ve been working with it with rubbing alcohol my fingernails and olive oil and Ajax I think they need to do something about that but other than that I really like it I would purchase it again if they change their labeling sticky stuff it’s a nice size it’s collapsible and it’s versatile.

Makes an excellent washbasin for camping, stores super easy as well

This tub is useful for soaking laundry prior to washing. It is also a good size for handwashing delicates. It would make an excellent basin for washing dishes on a camping trip. While it was a little stiff at first, it unfolds and folds with relative ease, which is handy for storage when not in use. Adding a drainage option in the bottom would be useful, but would also add to the weight and to the depth when collapsed. It is not so heavy when full as to make emptying it a great chore.
