It's just meh
I like Yaqi's synthetic brushes. They're awesome. This is my second try at a Yaqi badger, and it's super "mid" as the kids say. It's definitely a $30 badger brush, so don't expect you're discovering a hidden gem. They're charging exactly what it's worth. The hairs they use are thick and hold a ton of water, and the 2band tips are nice and soft, but as for lathering, brushing on the lather, releasing the lather, and drying out after use? They're just very low end to mid. It'll work, and you'll get the basic badger experience, but you'll turn back to your synthetics within a short time.If you want the luxurious badger brush experience just get a Simpsons in Best Badger for around $60 or step up and order a Shavemac. These brushes will give you that luxurious badger brush experience that people use badgers for. Experienced wet shavers use a synthetic as a daily, and spend a little extra for a good badger for the occasions they want luxury, because you can't use a badger every day anyway (it needs 2 days to dry after each use to avoid becoming moldy and falling apart).
