Costa Del MarMen's Fantail Rectangular Sunglasses

I bought this sun glasses summer of 2018 , as I was looking for great sunglasses with any cost.Unfortunitly this is the summary of my expreance using the:1-the quality us not up to the level as in less than a year the handles started dangling and you need to tighten them up every few days.2-yes they do a good job while the sun is so bright but the minute it starts getting dimmer you will start seeing slight double vision :(3-I was taking good care of the pair but still got scratched although they are supposed to be scratch resistant :(4-contacted the seller with no response and amazon directed me to the manufacture as the life time waranti but unfortunutly no response.I highly recomend using other brands like oakley glasses but be sure to order the ones made in the US or any other mid-rang brands.

My husband only wears Costas and right outta the box he knew these were a fake. He has the same pair and when we put them side by side you could plainly see the differences. The lens color was off and the overall shape of these were much smaller and felt cheap! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE FAKE ONES!!!!

These are just the creme of the crop. I tell ya I've owned em all, Oakley, Maui Jim's, ect. ect. And these are DURABLE I got the 580g lens and the coating is awesome and hard to scratch, and easily the clearest lenses I've ever looked through. Now I put on some cheap sunglasses and feel like I'm in a fish bowl and reach for my Costas once again. The polarization and filtering of light is absolutely amazing for days on the bright ocean and reflictive water and snow. No more squints headaches.

Great price and real deal. Don’t listen to the guy claiming patent isn’t US. I looked it up from his image. It’s US sunglass patent. Best pair I own. Great fit for medium head. I like them tight but if you’re a Charlie Brown best avoid. Glass is also awesome vs plastic. I wear instead of my Oakley and Maui Jim’s.

I've had them for a year now. Never have i paid that much for sun glasses before. I still have them and wear them almost every day when needed. In the past i would have lost or broken many a pair by now but these seem to stick around. When I'm outside working ,mowing ,driving or in the pool I have them on. The only thing is the lenses have scratches. I really didnt read the fine print and there warranty does'nt cover scratches on the lenses. Not sure i will spend that again with out a better warranty on the lenses.

I still have these classes years 4 later. The nose piece was wearing off after a couple of years and so i sent them in to the manufacturer and they sent me them back fixed. They have lasted through ski trips, fishing trips, hiking, running, biking, and all of the other physical activity i have endured. I hope i never have to buy another pair of glasses, but if i had i would buy these exact ones. They are great for seeing fish in the water and since they are polarized, they keep your eyes safe.

Great lenses, solid frames, quality all the way around. When you get to this level of sunglasses there is not much that separates the top tier lenses from Smith, Costa or Oakley. Costa lenses, 580g..glass, are lightweight and awesome. Lifetime warranty is comforting. Have only had for a week but researched and these should be solid. Buy on sale or though other means. At full retail they are strongly priced. Good solid buy with Costa.

I have owned a pair of fantail Costas before with glass lenses. Unfortunately I just lost them so decided to buy the same pair because I liked them so much. When I received this set from Amazon it was obvious the lenses were not glass. They werent heavy enough to be glass and there was no doubt they weren't glass when you tapped on them with your finger nail. Here's the shady part... the one lens was marked as though they were glass "580" not "580P" for the plastic version. Also they had a removable sticker saying they were glass on the lenses. I sent them back for a refund. Just a heads up to everyone, do your research when you buy Costas and be sure you are receiving a real pair especially for the money you are spending.
