I appreciate the height of the cage and the really big zipper. Almost from top to bottom, it allows me to add leaves and caterpillars without disturbing others at the bottom or at the top of chrysanthemums. Cleaning the cage also helps with this size zipper, because I can easily remove kraft paper/paper towels.Small cages also help me move and carry these caterpillars. Very recommended!

Great for keeping caterpillars safe from birds while they are feeding on a potted host plant. They are contained and the mesh allows you to see the butterflies emerge from the cocoon. The zipper makes it easy to clean as caterpillars are eating and excreting the host plant and keeps them healthy.

Well made mesh habitats. Both came compressed in a small light weight package and popped up when pulled from the package. Very useful for housing tiny caterpillars in the smaller one, then transferring into the larger habitat with plenty of room for milkweed plants, growing caterpillars and adult butterflies. Best for indoors due to the light weight. It will tip over outside in the wind unless it is anchored down or secured in some way.

Great to have two different sizes. Was able to use the smaller one for a monarch caterpillar so I can share the experience with my nephews.

We used this as a home & school project & loved it. I would like to see the base weighted so that it is easier to unzip the opening without it tipping over. Would be great if the top few inches of every side had a viewing area to view the developing chrysalis.

Love this! Perfect for the price especially and much more sturdy than expected. Planning on using for my silk worm moths, the small bonus net was a great addition to let my son have his own personal one in also. Highly recommend for moth or butterfly cages or for gifting to kids for catching flying bugs.

This is my second enclosure. The first one came with a plastic tray that made it easy to clean the cage. This just has a mesh bottom which is rounded and wobbly....very difficult to clean. Cleaning daily is a must with raising monarchs.

Large net is great and works well. The small net arrived ripped and we had to sew it together with thread.

I have started to raise butterflies, this enclosure works well for them. It's just big enough for raising cats to butterfly. Easy to clean and move around.

We ordered this for my classroom and it’s perfect. The size is great and the material seems to be well-made. There’s a little bit of a snag on the zipper but it’s still does the job.

Great enclosure ! We love the plastic window on the side. Toddlers can view caterpillar without disturbing. Easy to clean . Also love the small enclosure that comes with it. Made it easy to collect milkweed and the caterpillar eggs .

It's exactly as described, perfect for what I need it for. I am happy with it.

Butterflies hatched in it and were released with few tears.
