You can buy the magazine holster separate.
Most important thing first. you can buy the magazine holster alone, without the leg strap for half the price.Adaptive tactical makes the leg strap, and TAC-Hammer makes the magazine holster. the holster alone is not sold on amazon, even though it's listed alone on the adaptive tactical site. Why I got it:so, I bought this because I like leg holsters for my work tools. no, seriously. I figured that maybe this would work great for me too. now, I'm like 5'6" with a low inseam, so this kind of sucks for me. The Velcro that's supposed to grab around your belt makes the holster hang too low for me, even when tightened as much as possible. Now, i'm a short guy, so I get it, but it makes the thighstrap portion useless for me. so, I just use the magazine holster alone.Pros:The thigh strap that goes around your leg is rubberized to prevent slipping, which is really nice. The magazine holster holds tight enough to be firm, loose enough to slide in and out easily. you can keep magazines facing either way.The Magazine holster comes off. the holster has too metal buttons that pop off, letting you remove the holster from the leg strap.Cons:The Velcro that holds to the top clips and your belt kind of sucks. if i used a belt that wasn't as wide it might hold better, but i'm not a fan.I hate molle systems, as they normally come with just too much velcro and are very flimsy. the thigh strap portion of this isn't any different.final thoughts:honestly, i'm keeping it. i like to use the mag holster by itself on my belt. I've already ordered a second one (just the holster alone this time) I don't think that all together this purchase is worth the 45-50ish dollars they want for it. i'll figure out something to do with this leg holster eventually. hopefully.

Buttons come off and mags slide out once they are loaded.
One of the buttons on my item came off. Found an extra velcro strap and used it to attach it. Loaded my mags to full capacity and bounced a few times and they fell out. Not worth the money. Item needs better buttons or stitching or both. The material holding the mags may need adjusting to be tighter or change the design and attach a strap to wrap around the butt of the mag to hold it in place.

Wanted to like this but it just is not made well enough to hold the mags
I got this as part of a package including an AT stock so I got it at a discount due to that so I figured why not give it a try. It's been sitting in the closet for a year and I finally pulled it out while outfitting a molle vest. I noticed it had molle straps which I thought was good so hey try it on a vest. But upon trying it a couple issues came quickly to bear: 1. It should have more than 2 molle straps especially since they are pretty flimsy straps at that. 2. And this is the real killer as I could work with the strap shortage and this is that the elastic straps are just not strong enough to hold the BX25 mags. Thye are pretty flimsy and given they do not grip well perhaps they should have had a bottom. I like the AT stock but these are a bust and a waste of money. I got the drop leg model and even for less just using the molle which is the better option they just do not cut it. There are better ways especially for the money to carry BX25 or BX15 mags. These are going in the junk bin of other stupid things I've bought.
