Very tasty - pastry breaks apart easily
Very sweet but good. Many of the mooncakes had broken in shipping but they were still fine to eat (just maybe not as pretty to look at). I would by again for myself but maybe not to give as a gift due to the delicateness of the pastry.

Yummy mooncake with pretty packaging
I like this mooncake! Always wanted to try yolk custard flavored mooncakes, and this set tasted nice. There’s a fair amount of them in one box, although it seems to be a little pricy for me. But the flavor of the mooncake was nice. I recommend putting them into the microwave to heat them up for about 30 seconds! It will be nice to match this mooncake with tea or some drink that is not too sweet. The packaging was also really well designed. The box was pretty and there was a cute sticker of a panda along as well! It will be a nice gift to others!

Is it worth it?
I choose this brand because so much review, the taste good and not too sweet. Can't tell if this is worth it or not since there's no other brand that we can compare with overall we all enjoy it! We can eat it as is or warming up. Both good in different way.

Arrived quickly, fresh and intact
I ordered Wednesday, and cakes arrived on Saturday (from LA to Chicago). The cakes were well packaged, came bubble wrapped, accompanied by a bag, sticker and a little booklet with a discount on the next order. The cakes come in a box and are individually wrapped. They are small, 120 calories each, which means you can eat one and not feel too guilty. The yolk custard filling is rich, smooth, salty and sweet — delicious especially if you warm it for 10 seconds in the microwave. I shared one with my mom today and we both loved it. These are as yummy as the ones I got in Hong Kong years ago. Expensive? Yes, but cheaper than flying to LA or Hong Kong for that indulgent once-a-year treat.

Not as good as the ones baked in HongKong
We ordered two boxes of these because we know the brand and have bought before when we visited Singapore in the past. The product baked in Asia has a very smooth texture and taste, but this item has ingredients from HongKong shipped to California and are baked in California. Somehow, the quality is lower and the taste and texture are not as nice as the authentic product made and baked in HongKong. In fact, you can tell that there are some coarse pieces of ingredients in the USA version of this product compared to the super smooth, decadent version of this product made and baked in Asia. For the price, we assumed the quality would be the same but it is not. We won't buy this USA version of the product again in the future. To the Kee Wah company, you really need to check the quality of what you are producing in California compared to the product produced back in HongKong.

Fantastic!
I was not sure about these when I opened them up since some mooncakes appeared to have broken. The flavor of these mooncakes were outstanding though! I will definitely reorder once they are available. Definitely worth it!

Very delicious
I would buy it as a snack even it’s not Mid-autumn festival if they’re selling it all year round

Good, delicious even but not as traditional as I was craving.
I had never tried this variety of mooncake. They were good, but maybe not good enough to be worth the price. They were almost too much like a hostess style custard pie in flavor, but too dry to be that. They were like a mooncake from Beijing but with an American pastry taste. I enjoyed every bite but found myself wishing I had bought the red bean or lotus seed ones I crave year round.
