The Naked Savages

It is just a fun read. Love the way he mixes history with his stories. His characters are pretty black and white, but their adventures (and misadventures) are fast paced. You kind of know where the story is going but it is a good ride getting there. Fast- paced, adventurous, historical soap opera with some nasty characters who live in luxury. Great escape with a little history lesson. Clean to the point writing style.

Fred Mustard Stewarts' four-book saga of the Savages is a must read. Storytelling at its best. Miss you Fred. Highly recommend the series.

Story is okay, but I didn't really like any of the characters. I will, however, read the fourth and last book of the series

Good story, but a little repetitious.....Liked his other books better.
