It's a simple cable that really extends the capabilities of the Aquaero 6 LT.With the Aquaero and a Octo/Quadro linked together through this cable, you get up to:12x PWM fan channels (8x for Quadro)12x temperature sensors3x flow sensor inputs2x 3-pin ARGB outputs (1x for Quadro)The main benefit of using an Aquaero + Quadro/Octo setup is having all PWM channels being driven off of the Aquaero's onboard virtual sensors instead of requiring the PC software to update the fan values. You can shut off the Aquacomputer service and still have delta-temperature based fan control with no dependency on the USB connection.I use an Aquaero+Octo setup to control five sets of different fans, a DDC pump, and two sets of RGB strips. With the additional PWM channels, it's possible to tune each set of fans individually to minimize noise. This can help with removing annoying harmonics from mismatched sets of fans.Setup is easy:1.
