Unfolding the bag for the first time tip.
Nice water bag. Plenty of threads on the cap. Seems and feels thicker than cheaper model.Opening the folding bag for the first time can seem a chore. The bag has a loop in a eye molded to the bottom of the bag. My first thought was to grab the plastic pull tie to open the bag. Pulling the loop created a lot of resistance to the folded bag, giving you the feeling that the bag will crease or tear. The best way to unfold the bag is to screw the cap on and open the valve and blow air into the bag slowly so you can control the shape of the bag as it fills with air. After the bag is fully unfolded, you'll notice no wrinkles or creases. If you want to attach a tubing to the spout, use 1/2" inside dia. Tubing.

I’m on the fence, pros and cons
OK, I got tired of taking a big Coleman 5 gallon water dispenser camping with us, strictly from a portability standpoint. It takes up a ton of room in the car and we need every square inch of transport space when camping with the family of seven. So I saw this on Amazon and said hey, great idea, collapses, will not take up much space, winner winner chicken dinner!More or less, that is. Took it on our first trip and I was giddy at the amount of space it saved on the way to the campground! Once we got to the site though, I wasn’t quite as thrilled.*Pros:-Collapses, total space saver when storing or transporting.-Clear so always aware of water level, need for refill which was AWESOME!-Dispenser cap has an attachment to container so it does not get lost when filling.-Little red loop attachment helps to pull into shape for use.*Cons:-Difficult to get to fully expand, even with handy red loop- had to “blow it up” to fully expand at corners.-Small hole to fill with water so I needed to lift it to the faucet, became very heavy so we couldn’t fill it fully.-Had to poke a hole in top to allow for airflow, otherwise it would collapse inward as water was emptied from it.-Flow volume from dispenser is very slow.-To allow for collapsing, the plastic is not incredibly thick or rigid, so when it is full, it is both heavy and difficult to move from place to place. We transported it from the bathrooms where we filled it up to our campsite on a skateboard, and it tumbled off several times because it lacked an actual flat bottom surface.-There’s no real way to empty it fully or dry it out after use so I’m highly concerned with mildew forming during storage. All in all, I would say that if you desperately need to save space and are not terribly concerned with the speed of water flow, it’s worth getting. It’s a great idea in theory. For me, I think I will be going back to my old Coleman and figuring out a different way to conserve car space.

The idea is great on photos, but in practice it’s a pain in the butt
It shrinks, deforms and falls from the table while using. Horrible design. Returning

Good water containers
I purchased 5 of these collapsible containers to carry addition fresh water for my RV. They worked quite well. They were easy to carry. And when empty, they did not take up much space or add much weight to my load which is limited. The spigot works well, though I did use a knife and carefully increased the opening on the spigot for greater water flow. I am not quite sure why they have the regular caps attached at back of the storage container. I don't have a college degree, so I will have to find someone with a degree to help me figure that one out. I guess that I did not pass Logic 101. Relocating the regular caps was a challenge.A note of caution. It is wise to put the red cap on when transporting water in these containers. The blue spigots are handy when dispensing the water. Otherwise, keep the red caps on. Your spigot will not be accidentally opened and water spilled in areas where it is not desired. I add that as "Lessons Learned".These water containers are very sturdy and I think they will take a lot of abuse. They definitely serve my purpose and I would recommend them for anyone needing to store or carry an additional water supply.

We call it “Blobby”
This thing is wonderful. Great reusable, eco-friendly water jug for camping, burning man or general use. Can be collapsed down to a smaller size for storage easily. The only downside is that it’s very blobby, flopsy and unstable when the water level is low, which makes it tough to use without someone holding it for you. Could be solved with done rope.Tips:-Read the sizes realistically before ordering. I ended up sizing up.-use vinegar to clean it before/after use.

So far so good!
I only gave this 4 stars because I haven't had it long enough to really know how it will preform in the long run. I purchased this for our motor home. Firstly, it was a little more expensive than others, but to me it was worth it to have the extra "handle" on the bottom side for ease of tipping it onto its side when we use it. (Hint, undo the cap so you can open it up when you take it out of the bag.) It flattens out pretty well after use. No leaks anywhere, and the spout closes completely. No smell when I took it out of the bag. I filled it up about 1/4 full & added a few drops of bleach, swished it around and rinsed it thoroughly before use. Having the extra "handle" at the bottom was great to hang it by to airdry.

sturdy and easy to use with out all the plastic waste.
This definitely worked like I expected to. It was sturdy and did not leak moving it around or during transport. The valve, handle as well as the jug it self is sturdy. The bag is collapsible which makes travel easy but it does collapse in on its self as the water is used. The only complaint my kids had was that the flow was slow when the water level was low so you just have to tip it up. Overall, We are very happy with this product. It is great for camping and out door activities.as expected. It does fall in on itself as you use water, and the level goes down. But it is collapsible so that is to be expected. Valve didn’t leak during transport and use. As there is no air hole to draw air in as you empty, it can be a slow flow unless you provide pressure to the container. Just tip it up with valve open to rebalance pressure. Good back up when camping and a sturdy handle to move around.
