Great sound quality and goes fairly loud if you'd like it to. Love that you can either use batteries or charge it.

It works for our purpose
It works for our purpose and I got it here for a very low price "used". So my disabled wife has an external speaker to hear mostly voice audio from her laptop while sitting around the house. This is not a "good" speaker however. It is not adequately clear to play distinguishable music and will distort pretty easily i.e. when the laptop is turned full-volume.
