Not 5 inches
Definitely not as big as described. Ita about 3.5" around. Holds record cover ok but I would not put a cover with record in it. A little disappointed but will work for what I wanted it for...

Nice sturdy little stand...
I painted mine black because I have black components. It's plenty sturdy for holding LP's. I haven't tried double LP's but can't see why it wouldn't work. Hard to beat for the price.

What's with that lean?
Record sleeves lean back at a 45 degree angle. Not ideal for viewing unless it's on the floor. And if it's an older sleeve, it can start to sag and crease. Returned.

Great Record Stand
The record stand is exactly what it says. Great addition to my stereo set up. Great place to keep your album, instead of leaving it on the floor while the record is being played.

I have a large audio collection of LP's, CD's Cassettes, 8-Tracks and 45 7in. singles. I love to display what is playing while listening to my collection.

The record holder is fine and is as advertised
The prices for these items -- from various sellers -- are oddly high. The item is fine, but probably cost $1 to produce and sells for 10x that.
