The hole is too big so the yellow jackets and wasps go right back out
Looks nice. The yellow jackets go in but wow the hole is too big and they go right back out. Very ineffective.

The wasp traps work. Do not use honey. It will attract and kill honey bees.
These traps work well. I use them near hummingbird feeders. The wasps are a nuisance. The traps work. Mix sugar/water, 1/4 solution. Do not use honey, it will attract and kill honey bees.

Beautiful and functional yellow jacket traps!
These are a perfect size/shape for yellow jacket traps. It's nice to find some that are actually pretty to look at. We added blue soda to one to make it even more lovely to look at (along with some apple cider vinegar to discourage any actual bees from going in along with the yellow jackets. Bees are cool, we need the bees!). They have already trapped some yellow jackets, and so far no bees, so it's very encouraging. I think this was a great choice. They are much nicer to look at than the tacky yellow plastic ones!

Cute looking, but doesn't work.
These glass wasp traps are very aesthetically pleasing, but they do not work. I had about 50 wasps circling around a bush for weeks while one of these traps was hung right next to the bush for weeks with sugar water as bait. It did not catch any wasps at all. Also, please note that the hole drilled into the glass on the bottom is approximately the diameter of a nickel. I cannot imagine any reason why any wasp, yellowjacket, etc would not be able to fly right back out. This was a total waste of my money, and it's also the first time I'm leaving a bad review for a product on Amazon.

Works fabulously and looks great in the yard.
I had a larger version of these before and it worked perfectly. I wasn’t so sure about the smaller size but within 24 hours there were multiple yellow jackets in them! A great natural pest control. Used a 4 to 1 sugar water solution.

Best Customer Service Anywhere !! 2 updates
Well, it did take awhile, and some experimenting with diffetent locations. In My first review I said it was not working at all. Not even flies. So the company sent me an e mail with some tips on bait. OJ inmid to late summer. But in the spring also add in some protein like tuna fish chunks They also said that if I was still not datisified, they would refund my money...!!! I did not even have to ask.So I tried putting just OJ in bottom of the jug. Nothing happened for about a week. But then both bees and flys finally found the 1st jug. The 2nd jug did not work well till I changed the location closer to where I placed the 1st jug.So my suggestions are 1) give it time 2) then placement might need changing. Since I did not know where the bees were coming from it was tricky to figure out. But now they both work great.BONUS !!! FOR WINTER STORAGE . Ckean out the jugs. Then fill the cute jugs with fairy lights. You can tuck a battery pack wrapped like a Christmas present next to it. See fairy lights for inspiration. In the soring just remove the lights, and fill the bottom of the jug w/OJ and a chunk of tuna or lunch meat.Super Cute Jugs, Easy to clean and fill, & GREAT Customer Service

Effective!
We’ve had a huge increase in all kinds of wasps this year. I tried other wasp traps and made sure they were for my area, but caught nothing but moths. These wasp traps DID draw in the wasps within hours. As suggested in other reviews, I made a syrup of grape jelly, water, and a little extra sugar. I caught 6 wasps within hours

great fruit fly trap - but not for counter top
Put in some apple cider vinegar and fruit flies enter, but can't get out. The only disadvantage is it must be hanging - the base rise isn't high enough for many flies to enter. I was hoping for a trap I could set on the counter, this one catches almost nothing on the counter - but if you hang it (like on a banana hook or nearby houseplant branch) the results are very good. Also, it is not particularly "cute" - it is obviously there as a trap, not a kitchen "feature". It should also be a good wasp trap for hanging on the patio in the summer (with coke or sugar water as bait). I like that you just pull out the cork and rinse out all of the bugs, refill, and are ready to go.

It's a bad year for wasps
We still seem to have a lot of wasps around. But we've got more dead than I was expecting. Really happy with how easy these are to use.
