This is a super cute and comfortable costume that I got to transform me into a hobbit. The fabric quality is much better than any other costume I've owned like this. As others have mentioned, it has a heavy feel but I don't think it will make me too hot. I'm 5'1, 150 pounds, small chest and thick waist/big belly. I normally wear a medium. Based on other reviews, I ordered a size up (large) , and I'm glad I did. It's a little baggy but I think it works with the style, and this way I can layer under it if I ever want to. You cinch it in the back and front, so the bagginess is minimized. As others have mentioned, the arms are long, and I found them also too baggy, but it's still totally wearable--it's just not the most flattering look (other reviews have said it's frumpy, and I agree), but it's much better than having them be too short and/or tight. I got lucky and got the long strings; I saw others' strings were too sort. The strings are crazy long and a little difficult to thread through the loops, some of which are tiny. Overall I think this is a great quality costume that I will hopefully be able to wear many times.

Bought this for the ren fair, looking for something simple yet mysterious and this did the job perfectly. It’s warm enough for walking around outside in the beginning of fall and it fit me just right. There are adjustable corset straps in the front and back of the shirt and they ended up really long after tying them so I just tucked them into the other strings a bit. Overall a very good quality purchase.

Warm soft fabric and I love how it fits.

I am 5'6'', 125lbs. The small fits perfectly. It is better quality than I expected based on the reviews. I am just using it for a costume, though, so maybe it is a bit thin for a daily wear. To be honest, I can't see this as an everyday wear item, it is very costume-ish. The laces came separately in the pack, but it only took me 30 seconds to lace up each side, so that was not an issue for me. It is a bit longer than I expected (goes to my knees in the front), but that's just as well - now I can just wear black tights with it instead of pants :)The only downside is that my husband immediately said 'people are going to think you're doing handmaids tale'. UGH. but that is a 'me-problem'. I'm doing slashed-up, dead little red riding hood.

Very cute! I like it. The sleeves are longer than I expected. Most of my tops with thumb holes, the sleeve length stops at the end of my hand where my fingers start. On this top, the sleeves go to the tips of my fingers. Not a bad thing, just different. The sizing is smaller then expected but it still fits. I have a 36" bust and a 27" waist. I bought this in a meduim expecting it to be big but i was planning to compensate for that with the laces. However, it is not large on me and fits well. So unless you want this top to be tight, size up when you buy. I bought the green color and really like it. It looks great with leggings or jeans on! Comes unlaced but easy to do yourself.

They jet out at the bottom of my ribs with tons of extra fabric creating an illusion that my hips are enormous

Made me feel like an elven goddess when I wore this with my elf ears! Fits so well, the cut is perfect and flattering. I have a longer torso and a smaller chest so that is hard to find. Strong fantasy/medieval aesthetic, perfect for the ren faire or fantasy cosplay!

Much heavier material than I expected. If I wanted to wear it to the Renn Faire - I would die of heatstroke. It is a bit large and the laces don't come laced so you just have to figure out the best way to do that. I am not sure if it is just because I am busty and short - but it was kinda long but I wouldn't be able to size down or it would be too snug up top. I may try to alter it a bit - overall it isn't bad - just not quite what I expected.
