G4042 3.5 Rechargeable Air Pump Kit for Fish Pond

All you need to aerate a small pond. I have a very small (50 gallon) frog pond in a corner of my garden. This is a perfect product for it. No need to run an extension cord. The battery is charged up enough even on a cloudy day to run into the evening - preventing mosquitos from settling on the pond. It starts up about an hour after the sun rises on a clear day. The panel is constructed well, with a nice stake arrangement that allows you to adjust the panel's angle. It works best at 45 degrees, facing south. The pump is strong and has plenty of hose to allow flexibility of placement.

Solar panel appeared to charge battery, but pump was inoperative. Battery unit appeared functional however had clearly been used and repackaged as new. Not my first rodeo with solar, rather than tinker and waste time I just sent back for refund. I really wanted this to work. Hope springs eternal - might try it again because it's a great concept and the product return was very very easy.

Inconsistent ... Works some of the time but not always - needed to purchase a non solar pump .

After running strong all summer here in NC, this pump, to my dismay, stopped working. Nothing. No sound. Battery was charged, with a green light. I called the manufacturer, Solarrific, told them of my problem, explained that it came through Amazon, etc. after giving the order number and date, and without hesitation, the company is sending me a complete replacement unit. I am completely satisfied. My goldfish pond of 3000 gallons is in great shape, too. Thanks, Amazon and Solarrific Company.
