Casio Men's AQW101-1AVCF Active Dial Multi-Task Gear Sport Watch

I finally decided to include a digital watch in my collection, after a deep research I still couldn’t find something that I like. I definitely wanted a Casio, however the choice was not easy, most of them are too big or overdone, I compare them with a Transformer, kind o a 2019 Honda Civic.Anyway, I opted for this one which I found not too big, it has 200 mts water resistant and since I like to do some snorkeling, I believe this is the perfect fit. Pretty easy to set up, nice luminiscent light, analog hands, moon phase and a fishing graphic that will tell you when is a good time to go fishing, with no use for me. This watch also has a thermometer but of no use as well, temperature was 19 C and watch was showing 28.Overall, I like it, is very lightweight and the band, although not of a very high quality, fits perfectly.For around $35, you can’t go wrong.

Bought this at the same time as a Casio Databank DB35H model. I like this AQW101 "fishing" watch better and will be using it. Just wish it had the 5 alarms like the databank models...Pros:1) Face is much easier to read than the DB35H.2) The analog hands are nice to have. I find myself glacing at those and being able to read them quicker than the digital display at times.3) The moon and temperature things are nice novelty items :-)4) The buttons are easy to work with and so far, no problems with them getting hit by accident.5) The overall style and finish are excellent, especially for the price.6) The band is good quality (better than on the cheaper DB35H).Cons:None really, but if pressed:1) Its a bit on the big side. Not a problem unless you're "small boned" - and even then, with the band, it conforms well to the wrist.2) The temperature measurement is modified by your body heat (about +10F)3) The analog hands sometime cover up the date/etc.Sorry - no clue on the fishing prediction accuracy ! :-)

After purchasing this watch, I have been amazingly satisfied! The thermometer is priceless, and the fishing setting is helpful. To top it all off, I've had this watch for a whole year now, and it's still holding up really well!Pros:Moon phase is extremely accurateThermometer setting is useful once you can set it to adapt to your body temperature coming from your body.Analog watch is glow in the dark (useful when looking at the time in the dark)Good stopwatch and timerDigital clock is quite accurate. I've had it for a year now, and it's only gone off by about 20 seconds.Cons:Analog hands sometimes cover up the date (Especially at 9:00)Analog watch is not that accurate. The watch itself is very cool I like that whatever screen or setting you select the watch will stay on without timing out and naturally returning to the home screen. All functions and features of the this watch are very well functional. My only draw back is that the watch band itself is unbearable. If you fit the band to be the proper notch. The grooves in the band will cause stress marks and if worn for an extended period of time will cause irritation/rash/presusre sores. Best I can describe is for those that ski/snowboard. Its like getting a wrinkle in your sock. I've owned the watch for a total of 3 days and am already looking for a replacement band. All in all. The watch by itself. Awesome, fits the needs of why I bought it. But the band is something that makes me understand why pocket watches became a thing.

I have a story about casio watches. I purchased a watch casio G shock 1984 had it. For many, many years it still works. I have only put one battery in it. It has the 10 year lithium battery and they are great watches period I also have purchase 2 more digital Casio watches just lately and they are still keeping up with the same standards. Great company!
