Dock stopped working | Update: 10/18/22 Seller has replaced the dock for free per their Warranty
I purchased this dock on March 11th, to use as a dock in our living room. It worked fine for a few months, even though it charges the Switch incredibly slow, so I decided to take my switch on vacation with family. After hooking it up on vacation, dock wouldn't output video but would still charge the switch. I chalked it up to a bad power cord or bad HDMI cable I brought, since I left the original ones at home. But once I got back home, the dock is still not working, even with the cords it had been working with for months. The $30 I spent isn't a lot of money, but I would expect the dock to last more than 4 months.Update: 10/13/22 - The seller has reached out to me and offered a replacement at no cost to me. Once I recieve the item I will modify my rating to reflect the customer service.Update: 10/18/22 - I received the item from the seller, and currently it is working fine. I will update my review to 5 stars, assuming that the first one I got was defective. Kudos to the seller for following up and replacing it at no charge.

0 Stars! Destroyed my Switch! DO NOT BUY!!!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this Switch docking station from Amazon thinking that the worst that could happen would be that it might not work and that I could send it back with amazons impeccable return policy. I couldn’t have been more wrong. After plugging this dock into my secondary television I took my switch off the factory dock in the other room I had been playing in and placed it onto this ponkor dock. The screen turned on for about 3 seconds showing that it was charging, then turned off and will not turn back on no matter what I do. My television never even recognized that it was connected to anything. The Ponkor dock isn’t a dock, it is a switch destruction device. What will Amazon and Ponkor do to make this right? Probably nothing! I urge you to run from this product and if this has already happened to you then I urge you to report incorrect product information on it and get it taken off Amazon!

Does not come with necessary attachments
I was confused to find when I opened the package the only other thing it came with was an instruction manual. I was expecting it to come with at least one cord for the power source but nope. Whoever makes and sells this product assumes you already have all the needed cords. I bought it to use it with my new capture card so I could stream Pokemon games and I needed to buy a second HDMI cord because the capture card only came with one HDMI cord and a USB cord. Aside from that minor hiccup though it works perfectly well and I had no issue setting up my switch with my capture card while using this dock (knowing my history with technology that’s a first in a while!). I can even use my iPhone charger to connect it to a power source. It’s also way cheaper than a standard switch dock so I’d say the value for the money is at least adequate. A mild inconvenience for something that still does its job well.

It seems the reviews must be true, will break your switch. Mine overheated.
Can’t say for sure this is the reason my switch now over heats. But I can say it didn’t start over heating until I started using this dock. The dock worked fine. We keep our switch on a dock when not using it. We have a couple TVs we like to use our switch on, and thought it would be nice to have an extra dock for that reason, so we wouldn’t have to keep unplugging the dock and setting it up elsewhere. Left our switch on this one at times just for charging when not using. Also played games via tv with it as well. It worked for both. However, eventually my switch began to over heat during game play. Now it has not been the same since. I stopped using this dock thinking it might have something to do with it, but wasn’t sure. Then went to read the bad reviews on this and saw so many saying “it’s bricked my switch”. Wasn’t even sure what that meant, had to Google the phrase. Apparently it means it breaks the switch so much that it no longer responds at all. Well, because I only have this dock no more than a few days to a week of my time, I think I’ve been able to stop the damage it was attempting to do before the switch became a brick. It it was this dock that ruined the fan on my switch, it managed to do some permanent damage. Who knows for sure, but I’d say with as many similar bad reviews about their switch being bricked, I wouldn’t chance it on this item. We ended up getting another official dock. It’s way too expensive to repair these things or buy new ones than it is just to purchase a working used Nintendo dock or a brand new Nintendo dock. Save your money and be sure you get one you can trust.

Works As Advertised
So far it works great. Easy to set up and clearly displays games to the tv. I like that it charges my switch as well.

You need a connection for TV
DoeS not come with connection for TV and have not bought one yet to confirm it works but seems legit on other reviews if you get the wire to display it

Yup, Recommended, seriously.
I don't understand how didn't Nintendo think of this, mostly because they made the switch with three modes in mind, TV, Handheld and Tabletop, I peraonally used only Handheld and TV for a while, until I started to need the Table Top mode and it was too annoying to not be able to connect my USB headset as well as the charger, since the USB port is under the console. This Fixes everything, is so good, I can use Tabletop and charge the console connect my devices and is also waaaaay more comfortable than the original dock for traveling since is very small, the only thing that is missing would be an integrated RJ45 port for ethernet( I have the oled model, but in a future 2.0 revision this could work for both the normal and oled models ) With that it would left the original dock OBSOLETE.

The media could not be loaded. El producto es de baja calidad, y no duró ni un mes funcionando. La verdad no lo recomiendo. Ya que tenía sus dificultades para que lo detectará la pantalla y posteriormente dejo de funcionar
