Must-have upgrade for any creality extruder system
Had the age old issue of my plastic extruder on my Ender 3 wear-out and cause under extrusion, so I opted to upgrade to the metal extruder as everyone and their dog recommends.Though slightly more expensive than the usual red metal extruders, I opted for this model to keep my printer looking as reserved as possible (I'm very picky with colours). The installation instructions were relatively straight forward with the only issue to talk about being that the washer/piece for spring tension adjustment isn't well described or outlined in the guide, though this piece is both self explanatory and unnecessary, so I won't be knocking down points on this.Once installed and recalibrated, my extrusion issues were gone completely and didn't resurface until another creality-typical-experience appeared with drag in the hot end, completely unrelated to the extruder. As an additional, I did have to get a replacement sent out as the threads for attaching the idler to the extruder arm failed on my first, but not only were Tresbo incredibly apologetic and helpful in the incident, the second I received held up perfectly fine, so I can only assume that the first extruder arm had a fluke issue and isn't indicative of any quality concerns.Overall: both customer support and the item itself were fantastic and I highly recommend anyone with the standard plastic creality extruder upgrade to this model at their first chance!

Not sure about the other reviews... but decent quality
Firstly, you can ignore most of the reviews, as:- It is not a Genuine Creality product (Creality don't make one of these.- It does not come in a "Creality" branded box.- It does not come with any additional freebies, like extra nozzles. Why would you want this? If you are "upgrading" your printer just because, then maybe this isn't the hobby for you, particularly as you haven't checked Thingiverse nor tried to buy on Ali. If you have any issues with the existing parts (my plastic arm broke) or or are trying to mitigate future issues and you either aren't ready or don't want a better extruder, then this is fantastic, and Prime means you can keep printing without waiting days for a replacement part.Onto the product. The good:- Quality is decent. Holes are drilled in the right places and threaded properly. Accurate fit.- It won't crumble or break the way the original plastic parts can.- Looks nice. "Creality" text is a nice touch.- It just about beats the competition on Amazon as it has a basic method of adjusting the spring tension. The bad:- The instructions suggest mounting the toothed piece on the motor upside down, with the two black bolts underneath. Don't do this. You'll need to place it perfectly on the shaft before fitting, and won't be able to replace it or tighten it without removing the motor again. Mount it with the bolts on top as per the original fitting.- The M3x18mm bolt that holds the arm in place was too short. I had to replace it with a M3x20mm bolt.- The spring feels a bit too tense, even with the screw at the lowest setting. This is extra puzzling given the thought that went into making it adjustable. If anything, it should be too slack, allowing you to make it more tense by adjusting the screw. I'll probably swap this out soon.

You need this upgrade. You just don't know it
Optimal quality product. I needed to return another brand one because the screwed exit that holds the filament broke in half when the nozzle got clogged 24 hours after installation. But this one is heavy duty. I put him in some extreme conditions. If the filament is stuck nothing will break. At all. It will rather break the filament, which is better than having a lot of wasted filament due to a print error. Very easy to assemble. The spring is hard, some people recomend to keep the original as it is softer and if too strong it might push too hard when there are filament problems. I had it installed for a couple of months with zero problems (the original gave me many problems as the bowden tube going out of place during printing, or skipping E-steps). Totally worth as upgrade.Material and craved brand makes it look so professional, although we all know this is not owned by Creality

Good. Be careful.
Good, although the spring itself feels a little harder than the original installed on my printer. You’ll want to have the sprint tension screw on the weakest setting or you will grind your filament.Another thing to watch out for is the order you install this, don’t do what I did which was fit the arm on last with the long screw; the tension on the spring and trying to hold it in place cause me to cross thread the hole in the motor. Instead put the spring in the arm after it is fitted.

Great mod to Ender 3 Pro
Much better than plastic one fitted as standard on my Ender 3 Pro

Big improvement!
The plastic extruder that comes as part of the Cr10s is prone to breaking.I decided to replace this before that happened.Preventative maintenance!!So glad I did.It feels solid and works fantastically. The added bonus of being able to adjust the spring is a big plus!Simple case of swapping out the old one. 4 screws. Simples.

Good upgrade from the stock one.
No trouble installing this, make sure you hold onto the extruder motor when taking the old one off! It is held up by the screws going into this piece. So far so good, it's an upgrade from the plastic one that creality ships their printers with.If you're worried about filament wearing through the entry over time, use a simple filament guide that keeps it straight just before it enters the extruder.
