Pod 2-in-1 Convertible Crib with Junior Bed Conversion Kit

Great cribs. Look awesome! Bought 2 for my twin boys. Very good quality and super sturdy.Easy to assemble took 5 mins.No bars!! Great for our dog. He can look but not lick.

We used this crib for our two kids.Pluses:o Amazing design. We bought a second crib for when both kids were in cribs and we got rid of the second, newer one first. The pod is just so cool looking.o The acrylic sides are great because the kids can't stick a leg or arm out while sleeping.Minuses:o It's obviously expensive, so there's that. Your baby will sleep on whatever crib you buy, so the extra expense is all about you.o The acrylic started cracking on the top after our second kid was a toddler and would lean back an forth on it. It seemed to be that the flower-shaped holes that are cut into the acrylic went too high, as most of the cracks went from a flower to the top. I reached out to Ubabub and they seemed to think they were just superficial. For this price I would think you would design it so it didn't crack. The rest of the crib is rock-solid, but I think they could have added 1/4" or so to the acrylic thickness.o The acrylic gets dirty and you have to clean it, which isn't a big deal. Note that you can't use windex on acrylic (ammonia can cause fogging and crazing). Pledge works very well. It can be a little difficult to get stuff out of the flower-shaped cut outs. The biggest cleaning issue is the bottom of the acrylic where it meets the wood. Stuff will get in there and the only way to clean it is to remove the acrylic, which is really not easy.o My crib came fully installed. Unfortunately, the screws were really hard to remove and I stripped a couple when trying to remove the acrylic for a "deep clean." They seem to be very particular screws and you won't find them at the hardware store as the acrylic is drilled just so to accommodate the angle of the screw head.o Upabub's customer service is really lacking. I wanted to buy replacement acrylic due to the cracking. They were very slow to respond and ultimately said they didn't sell replacement acrylic. Not the kind of service I would have expected at this price point. This is clearly a low-volume product and the acrylic was probably outsourced to someone who does laser or water jet cutting, so I don't know why they weren't more accomodating.o We never used the toddler bed conversion, although we had it. There is a pretty narrow window where that might be useful, but the mattress is pretty small for a kid once they are ready to move out of a crib. This is more a criticism of crib-to-toddler-bed conversions in general.

Ordinary bed for an extreme price.Quality is good but won’t spent over $300.

Beautiful and very well made. Obviously its not for everyone but I have no regrets after receiving mine.

this is so much more special in personthe plastic is so airy and the design is so sleek and cleanits looks gorgeous in the nursery and seems like the perfect way to get around the prison bar cribs
