Great A'tuin swims through space toward a destination undreamt by mortals
My wife is a huge discworld nerd. I got this turtle -- Great A'tuin! - and four brass elephants and a salt slab, made a discworld lamp for a birthday gift.Soldering large chunks of brass together is a pain. The metal conducts heat *aggressively*. I eventually had to wire all four elephants in place and set the turtle on my kitchen stove to heat it up and solder everything at once.

Loved it BUT ... returned for size
The thing is huge. If you want to make a Sea Turtle Impression buy this. It's really beautiful but it was just too big for my front door.

Perfect
This product was exactly what was offered and was perfect for a gift. It’s on the outside of the front exterior door and no problems. No color change so far and very sturdy. Very pleased and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful!
Using my doorknocker on my toy hauler, that I take to the beach. Got it more for a decoration, than the practical part of having a knocker! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Well worth it, just for the beauty of it, but it works great, TOO!

Brass turtle door knocker & incorrect hardware to mount
The door knocker is beautiful but do you really think these tiny screws are going to hold it up? I would suspect most people have a steel entry door which would require at least a 2" bolt to affix it to their door.Pretty poor planning on the vendor for not providing the correct hardware.
