Skullcandy Chops Buds Flex Wired in Ear Earphones with Mic (Gray)

INITIAL REVIEWI am a great fan of Skullcandy and have and had many Skullcandy earphones and headphones. Infact, I have given multiple reviews on some of them on Amazon. The audio quality is often not on par with other competitors at the price level. Still the skull and vibe can kill every earphones. Besides in this price range, there is not much of a sound difference.Durability test will be uploaded in the upcoming month.I have gone through several headphones as one side fails to work after sometime as always. So I have switched to either wireless or non attached cable headphones. However I can't sacrifice my headphones to perspiration and it is quite a hindrance when I want to lie down with a headphone. Earphones do come in the way to fill that need and since my phone is a V30+, the perks are just amazing.Coming to the actual unit. The fitting isn't that easy. It took sometime to fickle around to get the perfect positoon. When it fixes, it fixes. I don't find any pain wearing it for multiple hours like the Skullcandy Uproar. I still don't trust the cable wholeheartedly. The cable comes with a single play/pause button. It could've been better if they added volume controls also. That isn't a compromise.The sound quality isn't what you would expect from this price range. The earbuds stay on and not inside. So other earbuds that stay inside make the sounds heard better. The bass is quite low and the sound is relatively low. It doesn't do a very good job of noise cancelling. I can hear other things happening beside me. What we gotta rememeber here is that this is a sports earphone. Thus the sound of the gust of wind is refreshing unlike others that totally block the surrounding. If you are into that, there are always other options. This is a sports earphones and Skullcandy doesn't fail to deliver the core functions.

Uncomfortable to use , need to be positioned at different angles to see where it does not hurt your ears. Cheap quality plastic, cracked in less than a month of use. Not recommend at all. Complete waste of money.

For the price, exceptional sound quality. There is good noise isolation (no cancellation). I was in my zone.But, the plastic of ear piece is a bit fragile. I broke mine after placing it on a hard chair and mistakingly sitting on it. For the price and sound quality, I wouldn't really complaint.I am clumpsy in general. It's better to use sony mdr as 210 (if available). Else, these are worth it.

It is not at all comfortable to wear and sound quality is not upto the mark. Not worthy at all as compared to other brands.

The fit is average and it starts hurting your ears after half an hour of usage.The sound quality is amazing but lacks in certain portions. Noise cancellation is a huge miss.I am not satisfied with the product and would definitely not recommend these earphones.

the buds stays in the ear and is waterproof or at least sweat proof. there is only one button which let you answer the call or play or pause the music. using it because I want hands free all the time. if I accidentally hit the button twice after a call it will start playing music. the mic is good and people at the other end doesn't complain.

For the price tag, you'd expect a better quality headphones.With the little use so far, it's worked fine functionally.However, the product looks washed out, and the plastic parts are flimsy and brittle.Wouldn't recommend.

For me superb sporty earphone

This is my 2nd pair. The first pair I've had for a few years and started to deteriorate from usage.If you're like me and detest the earbuds that penetrate your ear canal, and at the same time have a hard time keeping non-penetrating earbuds in place, then these are the earbuds for you!Great sound quality, durability, comfort, and convenience, all for an incredibly affordable price!Only one con: the rubber rings around the earpieces can get lost easily if you're not careful and customer service won't send you replacements. Unfortunately they seem to manufacture these earbuds in waves so you can't always get them, but when you can: GET THEM!

I was personally looking for headphones that didn't obstruct my hearing (I like being more aware of my surroundings), didn't go into my ear, and had a microphone for phone calls. This was exactly what I wanted and more! It also has that cool button on the side that I can press to pause and unpause music (I'm not always up-to-date with technology, I'm sure this was around awhile) and it's SO light and comfortable on my ears, I really forget they're even on my ears.If you're looking for good sound quality and noise-cancelling this is NOT the headphones you want to buy. Sound quality is average/some may argue mediocre, but it wasn't what I was searching for in headphones. I am VERY happy with this purchase :)

Sounds better than more expensive ones I've purchased. I can wear these almost all day and no pain in my ears

Great headphones and stay on the ear well but ear bud pieces are too large, dont fit inside ear at all so really cant cancel any outside noise.
