Great simple 2x4 stand
Very sturdy, never had a problem with this stand.

Sturdy and effective stand hardware that will last for years.
These target bases are relatively compact, very well made and work great on the range. They can be setup in moments, and they can take a lot of impact without wobbling. I really like that they seem able to hold a lot of weight, and my heaviest steel targets are rock solid on these stands. The 2x4s I used to set them up were culled (damaged) wood and were literally free at Home Depot. After using them, I can see many more uses for these stands than just target shooting - (i.e. hammock stand, campsite awning stands.) Thanks for an excellent product!

Awesome quick 2x4 target mounts
These are exactly what you are looking for if you type in 2x4 target holders. Look no further. I have always used quick 2x4 target stands when we go to the range. Assemble and throw in the back of the truck, I’ve always used paper and just threw it away. I got 5 different steel targets for a gift and now I needed to set them up with my stands. I got these and they are exactly what I needed. Perfect to set up and keep plinking. Mine have taken a few rounds directly on the bolt and spring. Bullets have torn up the print but they still work very well. Highly recommend

the range I visit is 1.5 hrs away. great that i can assemble this at the site and disassemble while in transportation. just make sure the base's 2x4 is longer, after 1 shot on steel plate the thing toppled over, by no means this is the fault of this product, just my 2x4 should be cut longer for more stability.

Good, just make sure you don’t use treated 2X4
This thing is really great and makes for a stable stand. Definitely need to replace the 2x4 after a couple trips to the range because of the frag. Treated 2X4 are not great to use as the wood is expanded and is very difficult to fit into the metal slots. Untreated 2x4 works good, most likely user error on my part.

Sturdy. Easy to set up and store.
Very sturdy with 10 inch AR500 plates, could easily hold heavier. Easy to set up, break down, and store. Easier to store than the H shaped metal stands.

Holds up
These hold my steel really well. I would buy some extra carriage bolts if you're shooting higher caliber rounds. You will probably have to replace them every so often.

Cheap bolt dont buy
After only 15 shot at 100m of surplus 7.62x54R the bolt face snap clean. Really disapointed.
