Truper 31185 Round-Point Shovel - 30-Inch Wood Handle, Steel D-Handle and Midsize Steps

This is a well made short handle shovel for working in tight spaces where a long handle shovel won't work. It does the job. The picture shows it is a green shovel, the one I received is red. No big deal for me, just an observation.

I am very impressed with the quality of the shovel. Went to tractor supply and couple other places all they had were cheap half plastic shovels. Looking for a shovel to keep in my Jeep for when I get stuck in the mud, did not want one that would break, wanted it wood and metal. The shovel blade is nice quality metal with quality wood shaft riveted together with metal not plastic same with the handle grip metal and quality wood.

Great shovel with many uses. I keep it in the truck for off-road recoveries. My girlfriend wants one for gardening. Great mix of size, weight, and quality sturdy materials.

Not for sustained hole digging, but a good tool for much garden work.

I love using this shovel in my garden. I'm not very tall. It's sturdy and well-made. It's also very sharp. I'm hiding it from my family so they won't use it.
