D'Addario Accessories Glass Bottle Slide

It seems silly to buy a glass bottle to play slide with, knowing the thing is a replica of the glass bottles old time players got for free when they bought medicine or other household items...but since almost nothing is packaged in decent glass bottles anymore, this is the way to go if you want a comfortable, well-made glass bottle to play slide guitar with. D'Addario did a nice job on these!

I wanted a bottle neck slide that was enclosed. This one was priced on the lower end but I took a chance. This slide is every bit as good as the more expensive slides. I'm getting great smooth sound out of it and it fits my finger perfectly. I can't play traditional guitar anymore because of hand injury but with this slide, I can play differently and am having a lot of fun learning new styles. Don't pay more for just for a name. This is value!

Very nice slide. Fits great on my ring finger. My hands are not small but are not huge either. Articulation of notes and vibrato is enhanced. Definitely glad I tried it. It will get a lot of use.

Decent enough slide, just not light weight as stated. In the description it says, "Light weight." The product detail lists it as .8 oz. (That would equal 22.6g.) It weighs 42.1g. BTW, I contacted D'addario/Planet Waves, the slide is made from Pyrex glass.

Unlike other bottle slides, this one only comes in one size and all the bottles are uniform. It works great for me.

This glass slide is as advertised, however, it was a little to thin for my liking, I'm not very good at playing slide and its light weight was not what I was looking for. For others it may be perfect, I've gone back to my metal one.

Perfect replacement for those looking to play slide On those old songs like Rocky Mountain Way or Songs like Freebird! Can’t be beat!

Mitico bote de medicinas, como los padres del blues usaban. Sonido increible, el mas puro en claridad de las notas, lo noto un poco largo pero, tambien se me hace mas comodo poder doblar el dedo dentro y no quedar con tendinitis al fin de unas horas. Me paso con alguno de Dunlop con la medida justa del dedo. Me lo quedo, ligero, suena genial, se visualizan bien los trastes porque se ven atraves del cristal y permite una mejor precision y articulacion de las notas, muy estilo allman brothers. Cremita

lo que se puede esperar de una marca conocida de accesorios, lo que ves es lo que llevas, es de los mas económicos con esta forma, ya tenia tiempo que quería probar este estilo de slide, a primera instancia esto de tener el dedo encerrado creo que no es lo mio.
