Worked well in commercial refrigerator
I picked up a commercial refrigerator for my Home Bar. It was a little noisy compared to the Dorm like refrigerator.I installed these and it cut the noise down by about 50%. Very happy with the results. The material is thick and very dense. It was easy to work with and the self-stick is very strong. Reasonably priced.

Keeps out the noise!
I have a metal exterior door in my office, and since I live in a city near a train and hospital, I constantly hear the train, sirens, cars honking, and other outside noises coming through it. The metal door even seems to amplify and echo the sound. I bought a set of these panels to attach to both the inside and outside of the door. Twelve panels fit perfectly on the door, leaving about 3–4 inches of space on all sides. This has dramatically reduced the outside noise entering the room and completely eliminated the echoing and amplification effect of the metal door, making the remaining sounds much more tolerable. The only issue was putting them up. I initially used double-sided Duck brand poster tape, which stuck to the door perfectly, but the panels would fall off after a day. I ended up supergluing the tape to the panels, and they haven't fallen off after a week, so that did the trick. I'm sure I could block out even more noise if I took the time to cut the panels to size to completely cover the door as well.

Is what it is
These won’t soundproofThat’s not what they doThey remove echo and create a buffer between spaces. So it does “help”I wasn’t able to use them… they didn’t come with anything to put on the walls and I thought they did.The price was good tho!The quality is thick and dense. If I end up needing to deaden sound I’ll come back to these.

Great value with stellar results
I am a voice actor and vocalist, working out of a very small closet booth. One of the hardest things to do in such a tiny booth (especially working on video games and animation) is be able to balance speaking and yelling parts in audio due to the massive amounts of reflection happening in a small enclosed space. There's just way too much sound bouncing around, and you need to deaden things as much as possible on all areas of the room without boxing yourself in even more.Though I already had quite a bit of sound treatment via blanketing and thick Rockwool panels on the ceiling and behind the microphone, there was still a significant amount of reflection happening inside my booth. It made it very difficult to project my voice without clipping.Determined to finally resolve the issue, I purchased a 48 pack of these to cure the problem once and for all. By doubling up these panels with hot glue, it makes a dramatic difference in absorbing the free reflections in my tiny booth and have helped me attain pro-level audio. These panels are very dense, and really do the trick in dampening. The difference is literally night and day. If needed, I would from F-Stop again!

Cool but not going soundproof anything significant
Firstly, I like these tiles. They look cool with the beveled edge and they were super easy to work with. They are light but stiff and cut easily with a utility knife. That being said, they really don't do much for sound suppression. They reduce echo a little but if you are looking for a real sound deadening solution, these aren't nearly enough. I installed them in my laundry room on top of 4 other layers of sound insulation as a finishing touch to cover up my work and get at least some extra protection at the same time.Again, they are super cool but definitely manage your expectations around what level of sound dampening they will provide. If you need to reduce a lot of noise you'll need to pair these with a more hardcore material.

Don't Bother - Will Not Stick even with 7 3M Tape Pads
I purchased a set of your grey acoustic tiles and some 3M double sided foam tape over a year ago. I never had any problems. The tiles stayed on the wall. I decided to add a bit more, and this year I ordered 2 new sets, this time adding 12 black, and 12 red. I purchased the exact same 3M tape, only this time, the tiles will not stay up on the wall. I know it is not my wall, because it is clean, and the other 12 stay put. I only used 4 3M tape pads on those. This new batch, I am using 5, 6 and even tried 7 - and they are not sticking. They stay for a few hours, but then just fall off. For a $40+ purchase, plus the $10 3M foam tape, I can not just let it go, and I am not going to keep adding more tape as that is not the issue. No response from seller. RETURNED.

Night & Day Difference!
My landlady would complain to me when I'm on playstion at night that it's too loud and she can't sleep. Ok, no problem, I bought a headset, which is amazing btw. Still not good enough as she complained that she hears me talking all night long. Whew, now what?? My brother on the other end suggested a gaming carpet. I'm already on a carpet, but looking further here on amazon found these soundproofing tiles. I sit next to a baseboard radiator enclosed in a large metal shell thats approx 4ft wide and 3ft tall, built in to the wall. These tiles are also fire retardant. I took the front cover off the radiator and lined the back of the metal radiator above and below the fins as well as the floor and around the radiator. I used 3M spray adhesive, which worked great. When I saw her this morning and she said she heard nothing, I was stunned as I thought I was a little loud, especially when I sang the fight song. My thinking was the metal box was carrying my voice below to her as there is no insulation near the radiator and I'm sure her radiator is connected directly below mine. These tiles are a life saver as she can now blissfully sleep and I don't have to hear the complaints. Saved a lot of stress for both of us. Thank you, this works great and I highly recommened this product for its intended purpose. Also, the room seems warmer, as I guess the heat is no longer escaping through the bare metal walls and being redirected to the room.

Great thickness, absorbes sound and reduces echo!
After experimenting with different tapes, and putties, we finally have a way to get them up and they are amazing! We bought another set that were slightly less in price but half the thickness. These are wayyy better and the price is just fine for the value!
