Antique Monogram Journal (Diary, Notebook)

Nice sturdy

A journal I could personalize was exactly what I was looking for when I found this one. I loved the look of it from first glance. The gold accents really make it look expensive.The journal’s bindings are tight and it seems very durable to take a long with you in a purse or backpack. I needed something to add notes for stories I want to write and its size 6.2 x 8.2 x .08 makes it easy for me to stick it in my purse to take along to jot down ideas.There are letters from A to Z and 4 other designs in the back pocket of the journal. The four other designs are: Believe, Live Laugh Love, a square design within a square and a square with flower (see photo). The pocket in the inside back cover not only holds these extra letters and designs but it can be used to stick mementos, letters, notes and other things you want to keep.There’s 160 ruled pages and they are acid free. The paper is a nice thickness. There’s also an elastic band to keep the journal closed so you don’t rip or tear pages, or lose anything.It was very easy to put my initial in the little square on the inside cover of the journal. The letters are all preformatted and easy to tear. The ones I didn’t use I just put back inside the pocket so if I want to change it later I can.All in all a great buy. I can’t think of any con other than I’d love more pages.

I am a journal lover and collector. This one caught my eye because I liked the monogrammed aspect and the size (6 1/8''x 8 1/4''), It's a nice looking journal that looks a bit vintage. The pages are thick, lined, and slightly cream colored as opposed to stark white. At first I didn't see any monograms and was bummed but they are tucked into a pocket on the back cover of the journal. There are several sheets with letters and a few symbols.I like that even gel and foundation pens don't leak through the pages. I also like that it has a hard cover. I don't like flimsy, wobbly covers on my journals. I prefer hard backed ones and this is. The one thing I wish this journal has was a bookmark or some other way to mark my page but it isn't a major issue. I could use the elastic band that is for keeping the journal closed to mark my page but that looks awkward and allows the journal to open. I took a star off because I do miss a bookmark but otherwise, this is a nice addition to my journal collection.

I think this is a nice journal. I bought something for my grandmothers and I needed something to write in. This is nice. I like how you can put the letter in the cover on the front to personalize it more. The only draw back to the letters is the one I was planning to use tore on the side when I was trying to tear it. Even though it has the lines to tear along they are not very good and it tears easily. Thankfully I was able to slide it sideways enough to cover up the tear. I like the binding and cover being hard to protect the pages inside. Makes it hard to tear or break apart from what I can tell. I have yet to use it much as I am writing stuff down for my grandmother and I have currently been traveling a lot, but I know once I start writing things down for her in it I'll like it. It's a good journal. Nice. Able to be personalized. Hardback. Plenty of pages that aren't super thin.

This is a lovely journal which is well made with care and with top-notch materials. I love it. The paper is nice and thick and I haven’t had any trouble with ink bleed-through. I use this journal for my daily “to-do” lists and other items for which I need a written record. The cover is beautiful, well-made, functional, and will hold up for as long as it is needed. It even comes with pretty large burgundy-colored capital letters with a gold background that one may insert in the little window on the top cover. In the photo I have provided (of the outside of the journal) you can see my initial. It makes it personal and even more beautiful.I will definitely buy again when this one is filled. I highly recommend this journal.

I bought three of these for my children, to encourage them to journal. I wanted a plain book for my boys, since most journal designs out there are feminine and really meant for girls. This one has a rich, burgundy color, and comes with a full alphabet of letter cards, so you can personalize it with your initial. You can give it to boys and girls. Overall, I love, love this journal! The pages have a slightly cream color, which is pleasant to the eye, the line spacing is perfect for my children to practice good penmanship, the pages open up flat for comfortable writing. My children loved them, too, and wanted to start writing in them immediately. Here is what my 9 year old decided to write on the first page: "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things (Philippians 4:8).I think I will get one for myself and several just to have on hand for gifts.

This journal is a great, quality item. It has a beautiful cover and beautiful pages. I don't use the elastic band to keep my place in the journal, I use it to keep the journal closed and using it this way allows it to also hold onto a pen. I write in it using a Pilot V7 pen and I can't really see the writing on the back of the page so I am able to write on both sides of the page without worrying about the writing bleeding through.The size of the journal is also very nice, not too big that it's hard to hide or carry around, but not too small to where writing in it is uncomfortable. The binding does indeed lie flat when I am writing in it which makes writing easier. In summary, I think this is a great journal and was well worth the purchase.

Really nice quality, and the monogram card is a nice touch. When I tried sliding the card in the folder attached to back of cover , both if ynem came off and I had to re-glue. Not a big deal since u for theses early enough to do that for a gift. They appear to look larger since I had in mind to give these to men I figured that a larger more " masculine " appearance would be nice. But i am happy with them

I haven’t started writing in the journal as of yet, but I’m happy with the result that I ordered. Once I have used up my current journal, I’ll be starting to use this one.

Es hermoso, tiene mucha calidad y al precio que esta es genial. La portada del marco tiene algo de relieve y brillo dorado lo que le aumenta aun más la calidad. Son hojas de raya, cuenta con un sobre en la parte de atrás para guardar algunos papeles o fotos y el resorte para que no se abra también es algo bueno. Trae las letras para ponerlas en la portada o bien también se podría poner alguna foto o imagen de esa medida. Llegó antes de lo que estaba marcado y en excelentes condiciones.

Papel bom ,capa dura, um pouquinho maior que os cadernos convencionais (o que é ótimo), muito lindo. Ótimo pra dar de presente. Recomendo!
