These are fabulous. Working on reorganizing my office and wanted to better read files, seems like I can never find what I'm looking for. Ordered two sets. Will be ordering two more. Only drawback- a little tricky to put into paper hanging folders, don't get in a big hurry otherwise you may tear them.

I read reviews from other consumers then I did my research. I still felt this product is the best way to label and organize hanging file folders because it bypasses the need for vanilla folders with tabs so file cabinet would be able to store more files, while the files are better labeled and without protruding labels on top to jam the file cabinet so that there are no labels falling off. I called Ultimate Office to ask if these plastic tabs fit the pendaflex file folders and was told they do. Not sure why prior review said otherwise. I ordered both black and color assorted so I would use color for the first of its kind (e.g. first bank) then black for all the subsequent banks. The instructions are printing are good (not old programs) but following the direction I could not completely align the labels properly so I decided to just write them with back magic marker. I find the insertion of the plastic tabs very easy....first 1 or 2 struggled but after that very easy as the 3 tabs have different lengths so allow you to insert 1 at a time-clever design. I did not buy the hanging folders with built in tabs they sell since I have a bunch of hanging folders already. I am very happy with my purchase and wanted to post to let others know tabs DO fit very well onto hanging pendaflex folders and I am so glad I found this method to organize my files.Update June 2020: I bought more so I can help my son, a college graduate heading to a new job, start his own filing system with the proper labeling system. My filing system is perfect and working out very well.

I love the ability to write longer file labels and these are very sturdy. I also like the magnification .My only disappointment was that there were no insertable labels to use to insert into them. Usually there would have been a perforated sheet of at least 10 labels to print on and insert into the tabs. It was difficult to find something to print on, sturdy enough to slide into the tabs and to cut exactly the right size to fit the tabs.

This is a horrible product. I had high expectations, for an ingenious product. Too bad I bought three of packages of them because they are completely useless. The tabs to insert them into the prongs are way too fat and short to insert them in the file folder. I can get one end in, but when I try to twist and get the other two prongs into the small slits of the hanging folders, the first one comes right out. Bad bad design. Unfortunately by the time I purchased new file folders to try them with a different brand, the return period had expired. Directly to the trash these will go.

What a find! These magnified tabs are perfect for seeing the folder sections and keeping me organized. Great product and easy to use. The download for the labels was easy to use, just cut and slide the clear plastic back and insert your label.

I like the concept of these...what they are missing are the slips to write your headings on. Or at least give us a page with lines to write between and you could cut them out yourself.They did send a piece of paper and info on printing them...or you can write them out. I made it work but a simple sheet with lines would have helped.

These look great if you print them using their pdf. But you need to be prepared. You must cut the title strips exactly on the printed lines. You must use cardstock to print on. I used a bone folder to stretch the slots on the hanging folders open a fair amount more. And then you need something small like a tiny screwdriver or I used a crochet hook, to patiently lift each folder slot open to wiggle in the little feet. It seems tedious at first but If you get a system going the first one or two, the rest will seem a lot easier.

I almost didn’t buy this product because so many reviewers said it didn’t work. But, I decided to try it myself because I haven’t been able to find any solution to read the file folder headings in the file drawers other than using a flashlight! And this works great (see photo).Work slowly and carefully putting the plastic headers on. I didn’t buy any special folders, just used the ones I already had, but if you aren’t careful, you can rip the top trying to slide these on. Go slow and lightly widen the three slots you’ll need on each folderThen, follow the instructions for making the labels and when you’re done, cut them out carefully.If you take your time, you will love this product.
