Good, but could be better
Let me start by saying that this product does seem to purify the air effectively or at least as far as I can tell and as such, is a Good product. I have no reason to think it is any more or less capable than similar products. That being said, this purifier has disappointed me for a few reasons.First of all, the price is fairly High for this device. Other similar offerings are just as well rated and often offer more features for a cheaper price. Also, the replacement filters cost considerably more than some other brands. The lack of remote control is also a big let down.My biggest issue with this particular air purifier though, is the inability to disable the ioniser function. Why they don't allow for this to be turned off is beyond me. For many this won't be a concern, but as the owner of a pet bird it is recommended not to use ionisers around them due to the ozone generated as a by product of the ionisation process. The lack of documentation/info on things like this is also a concern. It's not all bad though, the device is pretty quiet in operation and seems quite powerful as well and the air seems to be cleaner. Also, despite being a little on the bulky side it seems well made and reasonably aesthetically pleasing.Overall, its pretty good but with so many other options available, it's hard to recommend this one over it's competitors, who seem to be a bit more polished and affordable.

Air Purifier with UV Light, Ionizer, HEPA, Antidust and Active Carbon Filters, White
This is quite a large and bulky item, so would not suit smaller rooms but it has a nice design so doesn’t look too bad. Fairly easy to set up and get running, it is pretty quiet. I think cooking smells and that general odour has disappeared from the room. I suffer with asthma and mild hay fever and I do think this has helped my symptoms. The filters last up to 2,000 hours and cost around £60 to replace - so this is something to consider in addition to the high cost of the unit itself. One of those items you didn’t know you needed until you have it!

good performance and price . It does what I want it to do. i now have better indoor air quality
The Olimpia Splendid 99350 Aura Di Air Purifier is a fairly large item, but its sleek design allows it to blend into the room reasonably inconspicuously. The controls are easy to operate and easiest of all is pressing "Auto", which brings on the required level of fan to reduce the 2.5 microns or less particulate matter (2.5 pm) air pollutants in the air to single digits. 2.5 pm pollutants can travel deep into the respiratory tract and can cause short term and long term health problems. I am impressed how quickly the Olimpia air purifier reduces these levels after cooking in the kitchen (which causes these levels to rise). The results are easily monitored by observing the digital readout on the control panel. It does not tell you in the instruction manual, but a value of 50 or less is good, 51 to 100 is moderate, 101 to 150 is unhealthy for sensitive groups, 151 to 200 is unhealthy, 201 to 300 is very unhealthy and 301 to 500 is hazardous.I am happy with the 5 filtering stages the unit has. Although the three replaceable filters are expensive, they can be cleaned by a vacuum cleaner or brush and I would classify them as long life and good value. I do not have the air purifier switched on permanently and move it from room to room as required.Overall I am satisfied with the performance and price . It does what I want it to do and I now have better and controllable in-door air quality than I had previously.

Good
I like this. Its really easy to set up and it's obvious that it cleans the air. Smells are removed quickly and I find I sneeze less. I have mild allergies but they don't seem too bad since using this. It's quite big for my small rooms but its sleek looking and doesn't dominate the room. I'm happy with it.

Impressive equipment which noticeably cleans the air
I have used this for a few days now and it is simple to setup and includes very impressive features. It is almost silent in operation (unless you use turbo mode or the highest fan setting) and it noticeably cleans the air in good sized spaces, removing smells and generally making the air a lot cleaner. The auto mode seems to be the best and most efficient mode to use (you can set the power, timer and turbo manually if you want). After using for just a couple of days you can tell that the air feels cleaner and it has removed unwanted smells from the room. The feature set is impressive, with auto, 3 manual speeds, UV light for killing bacteria in the air and a timer. It will easily clean the air in a large room and you won't even notice it running most of the time. Its easy to clean or replace the filters and has a display which shows the volume of impurities it is removing. Very good piece of equipment.
