This is a perfectly fine light for the price, it's fairly bright and has great battery life. However, let's make one thing clear, the Lumens rating on almost all Amazon lights are complete nonsense. This light is not 1200 lumens, not even close, maybe 300-400 tops, and the light is not going to be as white as more expensive brands. For riding in areas where there is some light already, such as street lights it will be ok, but if you are riding in the complete dark it is not going to light up your path enough.My main complaint is that the strobe mode is literally the type of strobe you'd see in a nightclub, and there's no way to adjust the speed. I would never use a strobe that fast around other people or cars. The rear light has some cool light patterns and is built well, but it is very dim, I wouldn't use it as my primary tail light. The mounts on both lights are also very flimsy. While they stayed on for my ride, I felt nervous they were going to come loose or break off.If you really need night visibility I would avoid this light and plan to spend at least 2-3x on a light that is certified to be at least 600-1000 lumens. If you just need something for causal riding in already bright areas, for the price this will be fine to be seen by others and provide a bit of path lighting.

Needed something while I wait for my Ay-Up set from Australia. Really surprised how bright the front light is, easily 200 yards of throw. Not sure I would rely on it for an outback adventure, but great for low traffic back country roads.Update: not suitable for splashes or rain. The rubber seal around the headlight comes out very easily.

Easy installation, bright lights, 4 modes: High, Low, combo(high & low), blink. Great product for the price.

Tried alot of other lights but these are great. Bright enough to see & be seen, and still burn bright after 13+ hours of use. They could go even longer between recharging but I do a recharge after every 10 rides. Got caught in the rain a few times with no problem.
