Value Price Green Marble Top Tear Personal Checks (1 Box of Singles, Qty. 100)

It took 2 months to get these. They had a couple of obvious errors. But the errors did not keep them from being legally usable and I did not want to have to wait another 2 months so I was trying to use them. But each time I wrote a check, when I needed to remove it it was virtually impossible not to tear the check itself or cause it to be wadded or corners torn off. I had to void a lot of checks. I gave up and bought checks through my bank which came quickly and gave me no trouble.

First the good: The checks are handsome, check accuracy is good, the paper is thick and strong, almost starchy. The duplicate copy quality is probably the best I've seen. The copy quality is very visible and the copy paper is much stiffer than most dupe checks I've seen. Because of the paper thickness of the checks and the copy paper, the checkbooks come in 20 count increments instead of the normal 25.Now the bad: After the first couple of checks, the tear-out of the written checks becomes very difficult. The tear-out perforations are poor and too deeply recessed into the book binding. I've now ripped a couple of checks trying to remove them from the check book. I have to use an xacto knife now to carefully cut out and remove the written checks from the check book to avoid ripping any more of them. The deeper into the checkbook I go, the worse it gets. This I cannot abide. It's a deal breaker for me, so I won't be buying these checks again.

In my opinion, the bank over-charges for buying checks for my four accounts. I have switched to this supplier mainly due to a huge price difference, as well as a large variety of colors and designs. The delivery was quick, and the checks are not much different than the ones I was paying FOUR TIMES as much for!

Price is reasonable but the ink they use does not scan on a cash register if you are trying to use it for in-store purchases. So 90% of time the cashier has to manually enter the info in order to accept the check. However it is obviously far cheaper than buying checks from your own bank.

Horrible purchase. My account number was off by one digit (even after double checking before purchase). Did not notice until I had a check some back as “invalid account”. Very displeased and have heard nothing back from the manufacturer.Update, after notifying company, they corrected and sent me a complimentary reorder. Very satisfied on how this was handled.

I would give it 5 starts but they printed my address with a space in between. When ordering, the fifth line cannot be left blank so I entered the last part of the address there. I wanted the heading to be as concise as possible without spaces. I could have entered my address on line 4 and 5 leaving line 3 blank. I hope they would just make lines 1-3 as the required fields. Leaving lines 4-5 optional.

Was looking for duplicate checks order other than from my local bank as they would have charged me 4 x what I paid for this order. I was hesitate to see what quality of checks would arrive. To my surprise the quality of the product was fabulous from the print to the paper and carbon copy. No complaints here other than wish you could have more choices in styles or colors.
