Awesome...
I hate the fact that Apple had such a monopoly on so many products such as my Sony Stereo. I love this little gadget.. It was cheap...around $11. It does the job fantastically. I was happy to be able to listen to my music that is stored on my LG phone on my stereo. I had been looking forward to a gadget like this. Hopefully Apple now listens and makes all its future products a little more compatible or that at least device makers make it so that Apple doesn't have such a stronghold on their product line designs. I love Apple, but I love choice even more. With that said, this is about the product, which as long as you are within 6 or 7 feet with no obstacles in front of the receiver, works fine at making the signal work at almost stereo quality sound. I say almost because I'm biased to really good stereo sound. For the price, you simply can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

Good
When I first got the item it would not even show up in my Bluetooth options for the life of me after a month of letting it sit there I tried it again and it's work since I don't know what the problem was but it works great now

works terribly
BriteLink Bluetooth Receiver for iPhone Dock. 30-Pin Adapter Turns iPhone/iPod docking station into a Bluetooth dock (Due to Dock Speaker Hardware Design, Some Models of Dock Speaker May Not Be Compatible) -- sold exclusive by CyberTech with 1 year warranty.I used this on my Altec Lansing im310. The item works, but it works terribly. The range seems to be based on line of sight, as if I put my hand between my iPhone 6 and the adapter, the sound breaks apart with static. As soon as I remove my hand, it works fine. I had no problem syncing this to my iPhone though, so it is definitely synced properly. When it works, the range only seems to be about 10 feet, and it is very picky. If I turn my phone/speaker away from each other, you have to be less than 10 feet from it. There's no chance I could use this outside while doing yard work.I'm not sure if it is just a single unit of this product that doesn't work, or the product itself just isn't compatible with my old Altec Lansing im310.Either way, Amazon refunded me. Good luck to everyone else!

Speaker Dock must be plugged in to work
I own a BriteLink Bluetooth receiver that plugs into the auxiliary output and works well, although you have to pair the device with each use. I liked the fact that his receiver connects to the 30 connector in the docking speakers so you do not have a device hanging from the aux connection. I also read that using the Scosche passPort Charging adapter would help bluetooth receivers work better on some docks.Unfortunately, the BriteLink receiver will only work if the docking speakers are plugged in to an outlet. It will not work if using with the rechargeable batteries on the speakers. I have tested this with the Memorex Party Cube and the Logitech Pure-Fi 2 speakers docks. For me, this defeats the purpose of portability in having to plug in the speakers. If you will be using this receiver with speakers that will always be plugged in, then you shouldn't have any problems with this device as it does work and without the need of the Scosche charging adapter.Since I prefer to use my speaker docks in a more portable fashion, I am returning this bluetooth receiver and the Scosche charging adapter.

New life for an old BOSE SoundDock
I got this to turn my old BOSE SoundDock into a wireless Bluetooth speaker. Turns out the original version of the BOSE SoundDock does not supply power through the 30-pin connector... so I also got a SCOSCHE Home Dock pass PORT Charging Adapter & that fixed the problem. Sounds pretty good as far as I can tell. I'm usually listening at low to moderate volume & do not notice any audible degradation. This is a great inexpensive solution for adding new life to the old SoundDock.

Works Pretty Well
I purchased this because I bought an iPhone5 and had an iHome I still wanted to use. It arrived on time and was packaged in a bubble wrapped envelope. It could be packaged better, but there wasn't any damage. The setup was relatively easy. After reading the directions and finding the connection default password as (0000), I connected via bluetooth and played some tunes. I cannot leave this plugged in to the iHome however. If left idle, the receiver will no longer be found via bluetooth. So, if you wish to play something, you would have to take the receiver off and place it back on for the connection to be established. But, once connected, everything runs pretty smooth. I also tested this with audio for my laptop. While it ran music fine, it did not run movie audio well. The audio was lagged and choppy. In the end, I'd buy this again because of the price.Pros:- pretty easy setup- works well with music- pretty cheapCons:- does not run movie audio well- becomes inaccessible to connection after being idle

Works great with the 3 30 pin docks that I have! Great value!
I've been very happy with my Bluetooth Receiver dock. On the plus side, it's compatible with all of the 30 pin dock stereos I've tried it with. I have an Altec Lansing M402 and a Sony Dream Machine at home - works perfectly. Also have a Bose Sound dock at work, again, no issues with it working. The only improvement that I'd like to see is a "sticky" connection. If I take my iPhone out of range and then come back into range, it doesn't automatically reconnect. Each morning when I get to work, I have to initiate the Bluetooth connection through the settings.
