Chipolino tricycle for twins (beige, apollo)

I couldn't wait to use our twin trike, it looks perfect and is sturdy - my boys seem very comfortable in it...but when we took it out, we then realised it's not as easy to steer.. when trying to steer it in a straight line the handle has to be moved side to side and as it's quite long (to be able to hold two children) it's also quite difficult to turn round corners

My twin grandsons were born Dec 2016 .We bought this in April 2017 in preparation for when they were big enough to sit on it .By the time they were 1 year old their mum tried them in it .It looked lovely although my first thoughts were the rear wheels were too close together this narrow wheel base made it feel a bit unsteady .With the bad weather she did not put them in it again until last week .The snow was melted and it was a nice day so she tried them in it again .DISASTER .One of the bolts that held the rear seat had worked loose ,the seat toppled and one of the twins hit the ground with his head .Thankfully he was not badly hurt but he had scratches on his face .His mum tried to stop the trike over balancing and tried to stop it falling by pulling on the handle .The handle sheared off at the base but by luck my son caught the baby before the trike did any more damage to his son .The trike looks lovely and is eye catching but I would not recommend this as I feel the metal is not great quality and as stated the wheel base makes it very unsteady

LOVE LOVE LOVEWe take it to the supermarket with us as the boys love it . Gets compliments wherever we go !

The handlebars at the back did not turn the front wheel I had to add a piece inside the front of the frame to get it to turn and the safety belts on both seats are very light and sometimes keep opening.

Brilliant, the babies love it and we are getting loads of comments about how unusual it is

not a great product I would definitely not buy or recommended it to anyone .
