First of all, I'll say that I wasn't buying these for a garage but rather for a DIY fridge makeover. No need to buy a new one as this one worked fine but stuck out like a big, white sore thumb in my newly renovated kitchen. I had chalk painted my cabinets to look rustic and so I decided to make the fridge match. But even just painting the hardware black and then distressing the primer red with graphite was an improvement. However, I had seen these magnetic faux hardware kits and this one matched my cabinet hardware! Inhad gotten a cheaper set previously but they were not as believable up close. Returned those and got these- that were more than double - but in the end it was worth it. Great match and made better, sturdier and look less fake than the cheaper ones. My friends are stunned with the look and idea. Yeah, its a little crazy but I love my fridge in this kitchen a lot more now!

Best low cost investment I've ever made. These are genius! I have 2 garage doors, and they were both painted and made the front of the house look dull. But this magnetic accessory looks exactly like hardware and really dresses up the front of the door!! I'm so happy now when I pull up to the house and see this little bit of gingerbread that ads tons of curb appeal! One word of caution. The seal that goes around the door was a little bit too wide so when ever the door when up, the top two hinges slipped out of place from rubbing against the seal. Then when the door went down, I'd have to go outside to reposition the top hinges. But, we just moved them down to a lower position, and then moved the bottom ones up so now it looks semitrical again! ***and they hold very well, no change of them shifting in wind or just by the movement of the door. Mine only moved because of them bumping on that rubber sweeper seal around the door.

OK so maybe the headline is an exaggeration. The polio vaccine would probably have to be rated higher, but this is right up there. Inexpensive and easy way to dress up the garage doors. These days the garage doors on most suburban homes are the most prominent feature at the front of a home, so it makes sense to make them look a little nicer, with a bit more character. These magnetized pieces are lightweight but sturdy, and the vinyl make up means they'll never rust. And they could not be easier to install. Bottom line, if you've got a garage, get these.

Who would've thought of magnets for a garage door? I was told about these by a garage door business. They sell at a big name hardware store for about the same price. When I opened the Amazon box I was not impressed as they are a hard lightweight plastic. However, when I put them on our door we were shocked what it did for the whole look & they no longer look cheap once in place. We have neighbors telling us how beautiful our new door is now. My husband has walked by & accidentally bumped a handle and it slid a bit but we don't hang around right in front of the door very often & when we do we are aware. I suppose if you have children playing in the area it could be an issue but they go right back into place almost as easily as a fridge magnet. Not a big deal in my opinion. We are very happy with our purchase.

Excellent quick upgrade! Photos show before and after pictures! Now granted we just had the garage professionally resprayed bright white by our handyman - however it really makes the door really ‘pop’ now and not look so boring. Easy upgrade and took all of 3 minutes to position. Magnets (neodynum) hold strong and very well. Highly recommended.

These really dress up the overall look of your home! Love how simple it is, too! No measuring/drilling! I do feel like the magnets could be stronger, especially considering the price. One of my 'hinges' arrived with the magnet cover unglued. I do have some concerns about how well these will hold up in our brutal Texas summers but overall, I'm pleased so far.

Our painter told us about these magnets! Great price and makes an immediate upgrade! Fooled many who think they are real! Took less than 5 min to install and the magnet strength has held up with all the opening and closing of the garage doors and weather. Don't hesitate to buy!

These handles and hinges made a big difference to our garage doors. Here are before and after pictures. The magnets are very strong and have not shifted at all from opening and closing the door. They are very easy to attach and move around. They look so real until you actually touch them but even then it's hard to tell they are magnetic.
