Lucy and Cam <3
Review For TV Ever AfterFirst off there are a few items you will need on hand before More Than Forever: Tissues - and lots of them! Lucy and Cam will wreck you! A punching Bag- There are points within this book where I wanted to punch something so bad. A pillow- I may or may not have screamed into my pillow more than once while reading A friend- because when all is said and done, and you have gotten off the MTF roller coaster, you will definitely need a hug! Most of you who follow me on Twitter and have listened to our book podcasts, know that The More Series by Jay McLean is one of my absolute favorites. I fell in love with her writing in More Than This, Logan ripped my heart out in More Than Her and he became one of my top book boyfriends when he put it back together in More Than Him. Cam quickly made the top of that list as well. Since meeting Lucy and Cam in the very beginning, I knew I was going to love their story, More Than Forever.Lucy has dealt with a lot in her short life and after the loss of her mother, everything falls on her. She is strong and funny. She is selfless, especially when it comes to her brothers, who we get to see a lot more of in this book. (come on Jay give us a Luke book please!) Lucy is stuck in a place ay such a young age where she has to be the caretaker, however, no one is taking care of her.....until Cameron comes in and tips her world on its axis and becomes her calm in the storm.Cam is am amazing character. He is kind, loving, selfless and so swoon worthy throughout the book. Cam's love for Lucy is unwavering and his naivety at times when it comes to outside influences, is so real and believable. He lives with his mother, Heather (love her lol) and her boyfriend of forever, Mark, who I just adore (move over Dr. Matthews, there is new 'FILF' in town). Throughout the entire series the adults steal our hearts just as much as their children do!Lucy and Cam's story is told from the time they met (before More Than This) through present day and oh my what a story it is! In the beginning, the innocence of fifteen year old first loves is present and oh so adorable. We get to experience all of their firsts and they are told in the sweetest and most realistic way possible. Jay McLean has a way of writing that makes me feel like I am watching a movie in my mind as I read the pages of her books and with this one, it was the most vivid. I really felt like I was there with them as they fell in love, went to college and then had to deal with the outside world- people and situations of the heart breaking kind.Cam and Lucy will break your heart and then put it back together all through this story. There is a myriad of emotions, I as a reader went through while reading this book. There were laugh out loud funny moments (penisgate), the heartwarming interactions between Cam and Mark and plenty of ugly cry moments as well. There is a point in this book where Cam wrecked me. I meant pulled my heart out, face plant and scream in a pillow, punching the mattress, wrecked me.This book will make you feel. This book will make you believe in true love. This book will resonate and stay with you long after you read it.If I could give this book eleventy-three stars I would!

In love with the More Than series!!!
Like every other book in this series so far, I'm in love. This time we go back to the beginning of Cam and Lucy's relationship. You will see some stuff from the other couples as we go back through and some stuff that might not have made sense before will make sense now.I love Cameron. He's just so honest with himself about everything he's feeling. I hated certain parts where he was clueless, but when he realized he was clueless he took full responsibility for his actions and how they made Lucy feel.In addition to the obvious romances in this series, I just LOVE the friendships. Everyone should be so lucky as to have a friend group like this one. People who turn up when you need something, people who don't turn their back on you when you make mistakes, people who always have your best interests at heart. These are the kind of friends we should all strive to be.If you like Jay McLean and the rest of the More Than series, you will love this addition. I also think fans of Colleen Hoover will enjoy McLean's books, especially since she references Hoover in her own stories!

Best book ever !!!
This book is definitely in my "all time" top 5 reads. I have read this book so many times already, yet it never gets old. The reason I am so in love with it, is because it gave me so many feels....One minute I was laughing and the next is was crying my eyes out. Laughing, crying, cursing, swooning...I loved every single second of it.Not only is this book one of my favorite m/f books ever...it also has one of my favorite couples in it. These two were the best !! So let me introduce you ;).Lucy is just a teenager (15) when her life completely changes, when her mother dies. She is trying her best to keep her family together, but everything is falling apart. She can't do it all by herself and thankfully, she doesn't have to. Because this is when Cameron comes in. Even at 15 years old, this boy stole my freaking heart. He is one of the greatest hero's I have ever read about. He is her little brothers baseball coach and he also goes to the same high school. He has seen Lucy aroud and he knows she is struggeling. From the moment he saw her, he knew that she was it for him and he tries his very best to be the rock that she needs...“I thought it was impossible to be able to laugh again. But he did it; he made my impossible, possible”It was so beautiful seeing these two falling in love. It was so sweet, but it was also so funny !!!I loved that they experienced all their first together !!What I also loved about this book was the supporting cast. Cam's mother was amazing, but it was his stepdad Mark that blew me away...what a great man !!!These two might have been young when they started their relationship, but they knew exactly what they were feeling and what they wanted. It was awesome watching them grow older and Lucy... she was my kind of girl. A book geek with a big mouth !!But when they get older...things aren't always so easy anymore. They go of to collage and hat's when the troubles start. My heart broke into a million pieces reading about them struggeling. I know Cameron didn't mean to, but he still broke her heart.....and mine. I didn't hate him though...I could never hate him.“And at her words, I release her. Because the last thing I ever wanted was to hurt her.”But....and this is why I love Cam sooooo much....he doesn't give up. He will never give up on Lucy. These two are real soulmates, I don't think one would be able to survive without the other....“There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured. A heart so strong it will never slow. There is a promise so sure it can never lie. And we promise that love forever. Forever and always”If I could give this book 10 stars...I would !!!!

More Than Perfect, my favourite Jay McLean book so far
More Than Forever (More, #4) by Jay McLean5 More Than Perfect Stars!!!"It's not fair to the world to limit your love to me alone. Your heart's too big, Cameron."I remember what seems like many moons ago I stumbled across this black cover with some wild blue and red writing and it caught my attention, this was the beginning of a Jay McLean addiction with a very little known book called More Than This. That book decimated me, in a good and bad way, but it started a serious addiction to this More Than series. More Than This has firmly remained my favourite, that was until More Than Forever. I didn't think that Jay could top More Than This, but she did magnificently with this instalment, being Cam and Lucy's story.Cam has been quite quiet in previous instalments, but we were well acquainted with Lucy and all her drunken exploits, she was the quiet one, the reserved one, the one that just spent a lot of time "Hoovering," until she had a drink and she loosened up a bit.In More Than Forever we find out the reason behind this quiet girl. Her back story is none too pretty, her mum being ill, her dad working all the hours and with Lucy being the eldest and the only girl, the running of the family home and looking after all of her many brothers firmly rests with her. Lucy stretches herself very thinly with very little time left for her to find herself or be herself, she is Lucy, she is mum, she is cook, she is chaperone, she is cleaner, she is the maid, she is everything a 15 year old girl shouldn't be.Cam runs the little league and often sees Lucy sitting in the stands waiting for her brothers, he is intrigued from the start, but he cannot help but see the pain behind the mask and he feels like he has to do whatever is needed to help her. The more he watches the more enamoured he becomes, there is something about her, a gravitational pull that he cannot help nor stop, she is like a siren calling to him and he can't help himself but answer. Slowly but surely he manages to infiltrate their family home, just being there, helping, trying to break through the impenetrable walls that Lucy has built up around herself. She has a secret and it is not long before Cam sees exactly what Lucy has been hiding."So he has flaws, so what? Maybe that's what makes him perfect."Here begins the start of a beautiful friendship, one that starts a solid foundation for what is to come. This is a truly emotional book, you will run through a plethora of emotions, sadness, love, angst and anger to name a few. This book covers a varied range of events that will leave you in tears of sadness and laughter, a few hard hitting sucker punches along the way always help when delivering a thoroughly engaging and captivating story. In true Jay Mclean style though this book has that perfect balance for it is peppered with wit and humour that give you that little escape from the emotion, sometimes a much needed escape."I love you before you told me. I loved you before you kissed me. I loved you every day since we were fifteen. And I've loved you more with each passing day. But last night, you destroyed me. You took that love and you ruined me."This book takes you on a long journey from teens, to friends, to lovers and beyond, a complete package. We go through the first love, the first kiss, hell we get all the firsts. Perfectly executed and beautifully written you cannot help but fall in love with these two and you will be willing them on from the start. This is More Than Love, this is an "Infinity" kind of love. The pages ooze their connection, you feel their chemistry, you feel their love for each other, this is a book cram packed full of "feels," my ultimate favourite read. I love the "feels" I lived and breathed this journey with them, I felt it all, all of it and I didn't want to let them go."Because he's Cameron. And you're Lucy. You're team Luca. You guys are forever. If you two can't make it work, then we're all screwed."The secondary characters in this book are all fundamental players in this story and I cannot wait to see More of Them!! I can see a range of new characters getting their own stories and this is one intriguing bunch of people. I have to say that Mark has to be the best Step-Dad ever, I cannot say how much I loved this guy. He brought him a freakin Delorean!!!!Seriously though, I cannot put into words how much I loved this book, I More Than Loved It, I totally and utterly adored it, I just want More. It is amazing to see how much Jay McLean's writing has evolved since the beginning of this series, there is more depth, more emotion, more layers, just more of everything. I cannot wait to see where this series is going to go, all I can say is that I cannot get More Than Enough!Perfect, just totally and utterly perfect!"Because it's eternal, the rise and fall of the sun. It's forever. Just like us."

Second times the charm!
I have yet to read a book by Jay that I didn't love. I am at present reading through the More than series for the second time, I do not do this ever. I think its even better because I know what happens not only in this book but in the series as a whole and the Preston brothers spin off. This book is an honest depiction of what young love can become (I should know 31 years in, we met at 15). It touches the best and worst of what life can be like. I love Cameron and Lucy and especially the special friendship they have with their friends. Read this book bring the tissues and settle in to see how young love can turn out to be always and forever.

Incredibly funny and heartbreaking all at the same time! 5*+
This book exceeded my expectations. I fell in love with this series when I met Jake and Mikayla and oh boy did it just keep getting better. From the outside Cam and Lucy's relationship seems perfect. They've been together since they were 15, they were each others first love and whilst reading the other books, it does seem like they go through life without having any problems in their relationship so it was nice to see that just like everybody else, their lives aren't perfect and they do make mistakes.I fell in love with Cam, then hated him, then fell back in love with him all over again. This book made me actual laugh out loud more times than I can remember and that is what made this book so amazing for me. There's never been a time where I've actually had to stop reading because I was laughing so much at something that one of the characters had said and to me, making your audience laugh whilst reading is one of the most difficult things that an author can do.If you are reading this review and you haven't read all the series yet, DO IT! Go onto Amazon and download all 4 of the books and read them. You will not regret it. All of the books are hilariously funny but at the same time will absolutely break your heart and make you fall in love with all the characters. If you have read all the other books there should be no question on whether or not you should read this one.I wish I hadn't read it so I could just read it all over again.

I really enjoyed Jay's first three books of this series
I really enjoyed Jay's first three books of this series. They were all really great stories, that were filled with angst, passion and love. So buying this book was a 1-click for me. I had slight reservations, as the story starts when the characters are fifteen and as a cynical and jaded thirtysomething, I thought I would find this irritating. This was so far from what happened it's not funny. This story is beautiful and bittersweet. It made me cry buckets and made me laugh heartily. It could have ended up cheesy and corny, as these two young souls fall in love and deal with all the hardships that life throws at them, but it never does. It was truthful, sweet and heartbreaking as well as being very funny. you totally fall in love with Cameron, who even at fifteen, has a big enough heart and is mature enough to recognise when someone is in pain and needs help. He is a wonderful character, and I wish I could have met a Cameron Gordon when I was fifteen! As usual with Jay, the supporting characters are brilliantly drawn and you feel like you know them. I especially loved the way she wrote Lucy and Cam's parents, specifically Mark, Cam's mother's boyfriend, who made me cry! You also catch up wit old friends from the first books. I think anyone can read this, as I think it can totally stand alone... If you want to read something heartwrenching and beautiful, you MUST pick this up today.

Just beautiful
I can remember just a few months ago when I first saw the synopsis for more than this thinking...hmmm that sounds good I think I'm gna one click that...to this bein the 4th book in this amazing series and getting to read the work of this amazingly talented author. Jay McLean you are definitely up there on my fave authors list without a doubt and this series gets better and better j.l. be so sad when it comes to an end.Cam and Lucy....where to start...they are just wonderful!!! We know a lot of their story from the other books but the other half of their story...Oh wow it just got better when it got to about 60% in and then got to the sad part of their journey which had me tearing up I really felt for them. I really don't want this series to come to an end I love all the characters in this series even the brothers I love um!!! Can't wait til next year for the next instalment but it seems so far away from now :( oh well guess I'll have to be patient..if I can ;)If I could I would give this book 10 stars but I can't so I'll settle on a definite 5. One click this now it had all my emotions going it's funny, romantic, heartbreaking but more than anything it's a forever love....
