Leg Avenue Women's Sheer Spandex Thigh Highs with Stay-Up Silicone Lace Top

Pros: The silicone does the job on holding them up. The lace is soft and pretty. The hose themselves are soothe and not itchy or scratchy. They are thin and allow your legs to breathe so you don't get stuffy in them like some others. I got them to go with a maid outfit and they complete every thing. Depending on what you wear they're very pretty, elegant, classy and sexy.Cons: As every pair of stockings you have to be gentle with them otherwise they will rip. So I'm not sure if this is quite a 'con' they are very thin and you do have to be very gentle. If you have long nails or snags in them I'd file them down some. I got the plus size because I have thunder thighs depending on the brand I'm a size 10-12 in pants. I tried them on straight out of the package so they probably need some time to stretch but I did have a tad bit of muffin top. Luckily the design has the lace on top the covers and flatters so its not really noticeable.Besides that I love these they are awesome I hope this helped out y'all that are unsure or need a little more insight about them

I purchased these red stockings to wear with a red lingerie outfit that calls for thigh high stockings. These stockings are much prettier than depicted. The silicone that holds them up could have been a bit higher on the stockings. The very top of the lace wants to roll down a bit. It's no big deal if you are wearing them at home. But, if you are wearing these out, it might bother you. It's really minor rolling. But, I did want to mention it. The stockings are smooth and silky. Unlike some thigh high stockings that I have that have silicone to keep them up, I was able to attach garters to these. These are very comfortable and not flimsy. I was afraid they would only be good for one wearing given the price. But, I do think these will last a while. The red is very vibrant. I got a big "Wow!" from my husband when I put these on & strolled into the living room. It certainly took his mind off the football game he was watching.

So I had very low expectations for these stockings. I'm a big girl. 250lbs and 5"10, I thought they wouldn't fit or if they did fit I'd bulge out of them. I also assumed they would be lower. Wrong and wrong. They're absolutely gorgeous stockings. They go all the way up to the bottom of my butt almost, and made my legs look smooth and beautiful, no bulging. The best part, they DID stay up. I have a garter belt, and assumed I had to use that for these, but nope.Now here is where I got disappointed. they're very thin. Thile pulling on the left one, it developed a little hole where the lace meets the m a material, creating a long run down to my ankle like what happens to pantyhose. If this bothers you, I'd not recommend these for long term wear. But the run didn't bother me and my boyfriend still LOVED them regardless.UPDATE: after wearing them in public ONCE they were shredded. Absolutely shredded, after only one hole in one stocking. Honestly I was so heart broken because they were so beautiful. Both are just a pile of thread and I would only recommend these for one wear.

Context: 5'0, 96 lbs, skinny legs, small frame, light-skinned AsianTl;dr: To the average population, nude is a good size but black may be small on you. To the tall, these may be too short because they actually fit me, and I'm very short. To average Caucasian skintones, nude may work on you. Quality seems to be about the same for both.I bought two of these: the Nude and the Black.The nude I'm going to list as "fits as expected" mainly because it is too big in circumference for my thighs. I expected that mainly because I'm a very small person, so if you're larger than me (as most of the population is), these may fit well. The length actually wasn't that big of a deal - it was about 3/4 up my thigh, which is where I like my thigh-highs. Being vertically challenged, I always wear short dresses and skirts, so I prefer having the lace up higher than midthigh. It fits the rest of my leg well with no sagging- only the thighs were the problem. Because it was loose in the thighs, I do not expect these to stay up very well - though I haven't worn them because the color is that awful. The nude color is *terrible* on me. It was just way too light and was clearly different from my arms and face. However, I am Asian, so it could just be a different undertone or something. I would've given these 2-3 stars, but the black ones saved the rating.The black ones are definitely "smaller than expected" because they fit me perfectly. I love these thigh-highs with a passion, and I really want to buy more. I love that they're sheer but not -too- sheer so that you can tell that you're actually wearing black stockings. They hit at the exact height I wanted and was a snug fit around my thighs with no bulges. The lace is sexy, and the hose feels comfortable. The sticky part isn't silicon-y, so it hasn't irritated my skin or anything. They actually do stay up without garters :) The lace seems rather flimsy and thin compared to other brands I've tried, but I actually don't mind. It makes them more flexible, I think, so that it moves with you.
