There are a number of different pleater hooks available with subtle differences, none of which are explained in the youtube tutorials. Some have the hook halfway up the pin, and some at the top. If you want the curtain to come very close to the top of the window opening, so that none of the rod is visible, you have to be very careful to place the pleater tape at just the right distance from the top of the curtain. I wish someone had explained that, so I would not have had to order 2 different kinds of hooks from 2 different companies and do my own experimenting.

I had never used these types of hooks before, but they worked great to hang up pinch pleat curtains. They went through the fabric easily, and they stayed in when moving and installing the curtains.

I ordered 4 packages of this product. In the very first package, one of the pleating hooks broke easily while being installed. Upon close inspection, the neck/hook had rusted and it simply fell to pieces when I attempted to use it. The second package came with one already broken, the broken hook wasn't even in the bag which means it was put into the package already broken. This means that at least 5% of the product I received was defective. I had not purchased extras for my project which interfered with it.I expected much better since this brand was more expensive than the others, but lesson learned. I cannot recommend this product. If you're going to get cheap quality, better to pay half as much per to other sellers.

Not many folks still have this type of drape. - Glad I found them - Have some $$$ pricey $$$ velour across a whole wall - approx 12/15 ft. window. These slip-on hooks really preserve the material and 'heading' on these old but very attractive draps. -- The product is easily inserted and holds the drape very well. These short-neck hooks are perfect for allowing your pleats to go higher to cover the curtain rod/track. Online I saw some short-neck hooks that had an extra clip to hold them in place once installed, but couldn't find out who made them. If you see those, they might be even better. Overall, though, I'm very happy with these Dritz short neck hooks for my application.

Maybe I was making a mountain out of a mole hill but these were/are so confusing to me. Looking at them, I understand. Putting them up? I felt like a fly trying to find its way out of a window - it was there but I just couldn’t figure it out.I saved them to try again, one day, but I’ll need to look up a “how to” video first.These would be better if they had a picture step by step, or came with a small set of directions.... for the dullards like me.

I removed my vertical blind slats, bought some sheer curtains, inserted these hooks and put them up on the blind hook that was left behind. They worked perfectly! Now my slider looks less like a rental.

I ordered four packs of Traverse Pleater Hooks and pleater tape for curtains to cover a very wide window. The first pack of hooks actually included the "pleat pincher disposed below the fingers" which worked great to hold the hooks in place. Unfortunately, the next three packs did NOT have the pleat pinchers as listed in the item description, so each time I tried to hang the curtains with 22 pleats on each side, half the pleat hooks would slip out of position, or fall out altogether before I could get them hung through the little plastic rings on the traverse rod. I finally had to baste each hook in place! to get them to stay so I could hang the curtains. What a waste of my time.

Nice heavy weight and quality but the eyes on the pins are very large, making it very difficult to thread through the channels on the pleat tape (ikea brand). These will work for now but I'll be getting new ones soon that fit the pleat tape better.

The product is perfect. If you have a ceiling mount you can use this. I just moved to a house and my room was the shiniest one. The sun was burning me and I couldn't sleep well. I also couldn't buy any curtains. at the moment I just bought this one and I'm using my blanket as my curtain.
