Nice but too expensive
This is a cute mobile, but not sure it’s worth the price. It only hooks to a crib, so not very versatile. Plays music, sounds, or heart beat noise.

Attaches to almost anything including a crib and a pack and play!
Saw this introduced at the Chicago Child Life Specialist Conference in May. I was familiar with this companies first mobile as I have seen them in the NICU at Lurie Children's hospital in Chicago. SO when I saw the slightly smaller new mobile I was excited to get it as a baby shower gift for my neighbor's son and daughter in law.Pros:Designed again with lots of input from Child Life Specialists ( you know...those nice people at the hospital that care about your experience and outcome there) which means it can help developmentally. The rotating mobile can flip over from black and white ( for new borns that don't see color yet) to colorful pictures when the child gets a little older. Also has a small mirrored surface so the baby can see them selves which I understand is one of those helpful development things.Fully cleanable. With all the measles going around this is important. As I said, the other mobile from this company is in our local children's hospital partly because of this feature. It has a new adjustable base that Attaches to almost anything. Cribs, pack and plays, basinets , Car Seats?.Also has a new, Cool, record and play thingy. A voice recorder on to a chip that's in the arm of the mobile. It actually lets you record your own voice and then will play it back. Either in a loop or one time. SO you can record yourself reading a story or singing a song and let the baby hear your voice when you cant be there...I think this would be cool for grand parents or maybe a military parent who is not able to see the child every day?!Has a new Picture holder so you can put a family picture, or in our house, a picture of a dog on it.All buttons are really easy to access and give you the ability to chose for the paddles to rotate on a timer.Cons:Well I haven't heard a complaint from the user or her parents so I guess none!

Not worth the price.
There are no lights except for a red indicator light. Most mobiles have a projector onto the ceiling and cost about 1/3 of the price. My review is for the $99.99 “portable” version. It appears some other reviews for the more expensive version which DOES have a projector, are mistakenly on this page. I would say don’t waste your money unless you plan to use this during the day or in a room with some light on. We even tested to see if it glows in the dark, which it does not. The crib attachment is very nice and well thought out.

It’s okay
Bought for Pack and Play. It worked and didn’t fall over, was easy to install and move. Our baby was not impressed and it didn’t catch her eye. For the price, I wish it would have had some of the the lights included with the bigger model.

Has some good things going for it but it needs more R&D...
I gave it 3 stars even tho I'm returning it because: 1. has a 120 day warranty (more than most) 2. has some really good features but it needs more research & development to improve the great ideasWhy I'm returning it: 1. It won't work any longer and I tried two new sets of batteries to be sure it was broken2. The volume is way too low 3. The recording isn't very clear during play back.I hope they will continue to improve this mobile. Here's what I liked about it: 1. bright colors 2. mirror for baby 3. very adjustable arm 4. you can record your voice etc to playback to baby 5. securely attaches to pack n play or crib

This is what they use in the pediatric units in the hospitals
We bought this specifically due to our Child Life Specialists asked for it. When we inquired why they told us that being at LPCH they were part of the Child Life Team that got to help create this mobile. We will purchase more of these as they tell us they need them. Angels for Hearts is a non profit that helps pediatric heart patients and families regain a sense of normalcy in the hospital and during recovery. One way we do this is through our 'Wishes, Wants & Needs' program where Child Life can tell us what they need and we get it for them. We also work with Santa during the holidays to ensure the pediatric cardiac patients have items they need and sometimes a mobile is something a new parent may wish for. During the holidays we ask our Child Life Specialist what items they need for their patients mobiles are always a top item.
