It's December 31st 2023. I turn 27 next year.My corporate desk job recently allowed its employees to wear sneakers. I figured I would pick up a pair of sneakers and decided to purchase the Sambas. The Sambas arrived promptly and were pristine. I wore them once and was transported away. The soles brought back memories of the annoying pieces of rubber embedded within the strains of synthetic grass and the euphoria of bolting down the pitch. The supple leather was soft to the touch but is firm enough to stop any football right in its tracks. The signature ribbed tongue reminded me of the days when nothing else mattered but the tightness of my laces, the logo of my jersey and the friends that accompanied me to the pitch. The Sambas reminded me of my youth.It's December 31st 2023. I turn 27 next year and I will be wearing my Sambas when I do. The quality, finish and fit are just as I remember them. I highly recommend.

What is there to say about these shoes besides the fact that they're very comfortable, feel great (redundancy), and look good? Not much, I guess. What else do you say about shoes? Did I mention that these shoes feel great on the feet, as they would feel anywhere else? Seriously, buy a pair if you're into that whole wearing-shoes thing. $40 or so for a great pair of shoes, very good deal. I mean, you could do a lot worse; you could be spending any money at all on a pair of Crocs. (Whatever America did to deserve those, we sincerely apologize.) Anyway, wearing them with a pair of shorts is fine, but if you're vain when it comes to your legs or you're not quite ready to let your friends know that you too shave the fuzz from your legs, wear these Originals with a pair of trousers, khaki or gray, whatever you're feeling. The shoes are casually athletic, like white guys who say, "Yeah, I play soccer" but in fact have never played soccer for a recreational team and have little-to-none-at-all knowledge about the sport, but the idea sounds good. What's better than running around on green grass, sometimes getting to kick a ball, in short shorts and a jersey, giving yourself and others the impression that you're athletic? You're fooling everyone, don't worry. And after you wipe your forehead and throw your short bangs back, covered in sweat, after you trot over to the sideline, breathing hard, grab a towel, wipe yourself off, sit down in the grass and not the bleachers (on purpose, of course; athletes don't sit in seating apparatuses), take off those hopefully-filthy cleats and slip on these cool-as-hell vintage shoes. I promise they will reinforce your image as an athlete. Did I mention they feel like a foot-rub given by the most beautiful girl in the world? Please, wear these shoes with a sense of honor: be yourself, and for God's sakes, don't pop your collar.

These never disappoint. Been wearing Sambas for 30 years. Love these shoes!

I've always thought the Sambas looked cool. I still do! Sadly, I found them pretty uncomfortable. They were a little narrower than was right for me, so a wide size might have done the trick. However, there was no getting around the aggressive arch support in this shoe. For me, it felt like there was a golf ball under my arch. I returned them after about 10 minutes of pacing.I still give 'em four stars because they do look great, appear to be made very well, and I'm sure they fit some people.

been loyal to this shoe for 3 years. idc they match w fits, stylish, vintage, warm in winter, leather, like yeah they b starting to become overused and tiktok brought too much attention to them but they valid. starting to get boring to see but they’re still my go-to/ fav shoe n i love seein sambas in public🤞🏻🤞🏻 kings

Great leather quality. Size fits perfectly. Light weight.

I don’t see the point of getting the more expensive model when this pair exists, they’re super durable, versatile, comfortable, stylish and pretty good for football indoors or in the street. For 70$ I couldn’t imagine a better pair especially the white which looks amazing.
