Book in great condition and received in timely manner. This is a helpful book for a beginner at painting sea and waterside scenes. Lots of how-tos for detail work in paint-alongs. I recommend the book.

This book was exactly what I wanted. Steps on how to create the finished painting, with pictures along the way. Also includes what paints to mix to get color she used. Doesn't do complete hand holding though, which is fine. I found it just enough information to get the wanted results. I actually used Oils instead of acrylics and my second painting turned out great!

I was glad to see lots of pictures demonstrating how to do the basic seaside scenes. The directions were simple to follow and there was a variety I enjoyed. I love the seaside and was excited to see this book so I could capture the memories I love. The directions were step by step, though I think some experience in painting would be helpful in completing the paintings.

This book is absolutely wonderful!Step by step projects are very well explained, with lots of images and explanations of the various techniques used.In addition, projects are inspired by actual pictures, which shows us how to render these scenes with paints.I am very satisfied and highly recommend this book!

This book is title incorrectly in my opinion. The content of the book is really about painting water and sand dunes. There is very little other than that. When I bought it I thought there would be "scenes". The instruction of water and sand dunes I'd really only average.
