Does as it says on the packet

This is supposed to impress the buyer but is designed to trap you in buying their very expensive calibration solutions and powders for every calibration. Some makes have a calibration screw which allows you to calibrate with pH of normal, free, household fluids like distilled water, vinegar baking soda and others.

Not a standard calibration, harder to get the buffer solution, not very accurate either.

I found this product impossible to calibrate as in the instuctions.Why can it not come set up and ready to use?

Broken after a month

Funcionou conforme esperado. Para uso amador considero adequado. Sugiro seguir as indicações de uso de água destilada e temperatura ambiente de 25 graus para a calibração.

Supposed to be one of the best meters (more accurate) when in a budget. I like it. I use it to measure the pH of liquids and the soil of my potted plants by measuring the run off of the water through the soil. Be sure to also get some buffing powder (for calibration), this package does not include it.

I am using the device for about a week. Since I've been using many pH meters professionally, my first move was to calibrate the apparatus, but the buffer solutions were not included, I just forgot about that. However, the pH meter is working well, the readings appear quickly and seem reasonable and reproducible. It looks like it was properly calibrated at the factory. So, for most applications, it can be used right from the box, the battery is in and everything is working fine. When I got the buffers, I'll check the accuracy and calibrate if necessary. So far, I have a very good impression, and the price is very good, too.

It's interesting to find how appreciative Amazon sellers are when you actually reach out to them for support instead of a hasty return and 1 star review. I'll admit, I'm no different than any other Prime member. I shop on Amazon because I'm impatient and like to buy items that show up on my doorstep the next day at a price drastically lower than retail and expect them to perform flawlessly out of the box ...but that's not always the case.I had an issue with my Tanice Ph tester so I decided to take a brief moment to contact the seller for support and I'm so glad I did, they were super helpful and went out of their way to make sure I had a replacement and it works perfect!I'm glad I reached out and would definitely buy from Tanice again.
