Great product
This is not the first I have owned. Im retiring my 25yr old cloth and roller cover for the new one. Seems like it will be as good as my old one was. I would recommend them to anyone who does pies and cookies needing rolling. Im sold.

It shrinks when washed. I recommend hand washing line dry.
Easy to use for making rolled out cookies.

Perfect for flaky pastry
A must-have for rolling flaky pastry and kneading bread dough without working in too much flour. Also great for keeping rolled cookies from getting tough during rerolling.

This is a good product and I expect it will last for a very long time
I don't know what the problem is with this product for some people. The cloth is very thick and does the job it's supposed to. I washed it by hand when I got it, hung it to dry and then steam ironed it. It held together and didn't unravel at the edges. It's pretty much still the same size it was before washing and ironing. Plenty big!. This cloth will replace one I had for probably twenty years. You do have to know how to treat them. The pores of the cloth need to be filled with flour so when you use it the first time, rub flour into the cloth very well, then generously rub more flour into the cloth each time you use it. (The rolling pin sock needs to be coated with flour as well. I don't expect it to last as long but you can buy them separately.) After use simply scrape off any dough that might remain on the cloth (this will seldom happen after the cloth has been well seasoned with flour), gently shake off any excess flour, fold or roll it up, put in a plastic bag and store in your freezer. This make the cloth ready to use at a moments notice and clean up is simple. The only time I washed my old cloth was when I moved and it was going to be packed away. It finally had to be replaced. I guess I moved too many times :-)

Meh
The pie roller part worked ok, but I have always rolled my crusts out on Saran Wrap and that worked as well but didn’t need to be washed. The rolling pin part would not stay put and was useless. This was an experiment to see if it made rolling crusts easier. I am not raving.

Great rolling pin and pastry cloth
Replaces a set bought 20 years ago. Just received and used once so far. Can’t attest to much else but value was good and easy to use for pastry making.

Good for bread kneading too!
Recently got into bread making by hand rather than using my 18 year old bread machine and wanted something to knead on. This fits the bill and after ‘loading ‘ it with flour it worked well but kept slipping on the work surface. So, I use a non slip mesh underneath- problem solved😊 Good thick cloth, very impressed with the quality of this. The rolling pin cover is great, I am not very good at making pastry or rolling it out, but I persevere. It used to stick to the rolling pin and end like a patchwork quilt. With this cover, again loaded with flour, I can roll pastry out in one piece, still not brilliant at it but it has helped me a lot. I shall keep practicing and maybe one day I shall have a piece of pastry that it the same thickness at both ends! Go ahead and buy this set, it builds confidence in the kitchen😀 😻 I love it.
