I purchased this to keep my 10 and 13 yr olds occupied during a day-excursion wine tasting event. This held both of their attention for hours - taking turns on which pages they would do next. Great, ‘quiet’, mind-engaging activities for all levels. If I would have know both would enjoy so much I would have purchased two!

My Grandson instantly like the book ... planned to use it on the vacation trip.

It was a gift for my niece (9 year old) and she started as soon as she received it. Its a light weight book, easy to take while traveling.

Bought for an 8 year old boy. He has enjoyed doing the puzzles in this book. He really has to think! Very satisfied with this

Giving as a gift

Flexible soft-cover but sturdy enough to withstand traveling (long-haul flights in a stuffed backpack, etc.). This book contains a wide variety of every sort of puzzle, including unique riddles and jokes of a kind we'd never seen before. We'd expected a book of solid puzzles, but were pleasantly surprised to get something new on many pages! The level is good, I'd say, for children between around 8-11; my boy is a fairly advanced 8 1/2 year old who has completed lots of crosswords, sudoku, etc, and these puzzles were perfect for him and I could see the level would be enjoyable for a couple more years yet.

My daughter just didn't get interested in it. It was too difficult for her and even when I tried to help I had a little trouble with quite a few. The answers are in the back but that takes the fun out of it completely. However the book is nicely made and illustrations are good.

My niece loved it.

The reading level on this is a bit deceiving. The 'kids' title is too. My son is 6 and at this reading level but he wouldn't be able to do the majority of these puzzles, really disappointed.

Enough activity to keep my grandson busy as he loves mazes and puzzles.
