These scissors are high quality and a must have for trimming nails but also for everyday tasks! I bought these scissors because of the great reviews and I am happy to say that this was a great purchase! I purchased these to replace an old good quality pair of small curved scissors and these are just as good if not better. These scissors are made of thick stainless steel, are easy to use and very good quality. It's an added bonus that they come with a case, a safe way to store them and a great way to prevent them from getting lost. A wonderful value for quality scissors and a case, very hard to find quality this good these days. I use these scissors mainly for everyday tasks and they have worked great! Highly recommended!

I am super picky about fingernail scissors due to childhood experiences which I prefer not to revisit here. So picky that although I live in California, for the last few decades my family and I have used exclusively fingernail scissors bought in Italy, of the Alpen brand. In the past I tried a couple of USA brands, but they were unusable: not very sharp, and either the joint was too loose, or the metal flexed. I needed new scissors recently. Alpen scissors aren't easily available in the USA, and I haven't been able to travel to Italy due to the covid-19 pandemic. I tried these, and to my delight they aren't distinguishable from the Alpen model in size, shape, material, or feel (see photo). The screw is a actually little tighter, but that can be adjusted (and it loosens in time anyway). I don't know if they will last as long as the Alpen scissors, which essentially last forever, but I am optimistic that they will.

I have thin finger nails so I like to keep them very short so they don't crack; because of this, I like to use scissors. These are excellent quality; very sharp, with precise cutter alignment so they cut fantastically. They have a nice wet blasted type finish for a little texture and the case is very high quality. The stainless used is slightly magnetic, which is necessary so that it can be hardened and remain sharp; because of this material choice, it is possible that these will rust slightly if you get them extremely wet. I've had no issues, but keep that in mind if you drop them in the pool- don't complain. Overall the quality for the price is excellent; especially for something made in Germany.

I had a nice pair of nail scissors years ago and was looking to replace them. I always pay extra for a good quality when it comes to nail and beauty implements. I hate having to replace them because they break.You can tell right away that this product is well made. The casing is nice and the scissors themselves seem like they would last a lifetime. Unfortunately when I went to use them they were difficult. I think the kind I had before might have been curved in some way. It is very hard to cut the nail into that crescent shape. For me they have just worked like very well made small scissors.

It is really hard to find good nail scissors in North American market nowadays overwhelmed with cheap low quality products. This product delivers on promise through a reasonable price. Sharp, but safe, and high quality manufacturing. Love it.

My previous nail scissors were old, not sharp any more. I looked for new ones at CVS and Walgreen but could not find any good ones. Finally I find this wonderful one at Amazon. It's exactly what I was looking for. It is sharp and sturdy, cuts perfectly finger and toe nails. Was never disappointed with German quality.

Nothing special...you can pick up a much better file cheap from Coles or the like... so you basically paying mostly for the scissors which are not better than any cheaper ones...
