Bright and pretty we bought them for the marina we work at

This is an attractive light fixture . It was easy to install. Just make sure it is in the on position when you charge it out of the box. They ship on the off position and my husband did not read the instructions throughly enough. Once he turned it on and put it outside for the required time, it charged right up. Came on the first night it was mounted and has been lighting up nicely every night. What I like is that when it is on you can see the shape of the lamp. With a regular bulb all you see is the light and not the outline of the lap . Perfect fit for our AZ home.Update: after 5 months of use it appears one of the batteries is defective. Light comes on but only lasts 4 to 5 hrs. They supposely shipped a replacement 3 days ago. They got right back to me and offered the replacement. Per tracking is seems slow getting to the post office. Label created on the 19th but still waiting for updates. Could be just a USPS scanning issue. Customer service very good as to resolving issues.

Looks like it should work, but pieces do not fit together properly and all parts (INCLUDING THE SCREWS AND NUTS) are made of plastic, meaning the slightest torque immediately strips the screws. All fasteners are also laughably short/small for the relevant bore-holes, meaning they barely reach the nuts or threads and any pressure separates them immediately. Can't understand why they could not design the pieces to actually fit or, failing that, provide actual screws so you could force parts together to compensate for the poorly managed tolerances. Instead. they saved money on every bit, providing the buyer with a simulacrum of a light pole (if you squint), but not much more. Returning for refund.In more detail:1. Top does not fit onto light fixture properly. Warped so screw holes on opposing sides do not align without forcing.2. Screws on top are too short to reach bolts on light fixture and provide pressure to compensate for poor fit. Screw in one side, other will not reach.3. Screws and nuts are plastic. Slightest pressure/torque and screw threads strip, leaving everything turning loosely in the holes. Warped parts means pressure is inevitable.4. Nuts do not fit into hex holes on fixture (poor tolerances again). Cannot align with screws.5. Pole pieces are all plastic. Only saving grace is that the three parts of the pole do in fact screw together securely.6. Entire light fixture - that heavy thing that sits at the very top of the assembly and that is vulnerable to wind -- IS NOT ACTUALLY ATTACHED to the pole. Instead of screwing the fixture onto the 2-3 inches of thread on the pole, manufacturer instead provides a tiny little <1/4 inch Allen-wrench pressure screw, and on only one side. Means light fixture just wobbles on top of the pole, as pressure is lopsided and screw is pathetically inadequate. Barely long enough to reach through bored hole.Do not waste your money. Shoddy shoddy shoddy. For $300, this should be near-perfect. It's a prop at best or you need to invest in your own hardware and effort to make it work (screws, bolts, new drilled holes, glue). For $30 or even $50 I could tolerate that. For $300, it's a joke.

Very pretty solar light for my front walkway. I had to have a custom post made for it but that was my choice. Nice and bright. Only complaint is the little white plastic bolts and nuts are cheesy and just long enough to grab the nuts by one ring. My husband had to ream out the holes on the lamp to let them get in a little farther and the nuts easily strip. I had to call for replacement nuts and screws, which were sent after a second phone call.

The mounting hardware wasn’t sufficient to anchor it to the light post so I had to use different screws. The setup was simple and the quality so far seems good. I’m curious to see how the battery tolerates the winter weather here in Ohio.
