I bought this originally to check on my daughters ear for ear infections. I didn't realize how useful it could be until I started capturing video. Our little one doesn't like items put in her ear (I'm sure not many kids like this. Ours is 16 months and she squirms).One amazing trick is to turn on video recording and just try to get it in slowly in and out. No need for prolonged viewing. Just review the video after the fact. It makes the whole process soooo much easier. I was able to use the video to send to my pediatrician and they were able to help diagnose a problem after-hours quickly for us.The unit does get a slightly warm after having it on for 5 minutes, but I think that's the led lights. Uses micro-usb and easily plugs and charges quickly. Also came with the necessary cable, and a bunch of attachments (scoops, scraper, etc).Photo and video quality are excellent, and the wifi connection was reliable and very fast (used an iPhone to do my viewing). Build quality seems top notch and I especially found the scoop attachment very useful when using it on ourselves. I ended up getting some for family and friends who have babies, as it is so useful.

I just picked this up, arrived last evening. Clearly not manufactured in the US. Instructions are close to worthless. Try getting the app to load and function, good luck. Turn it on, within 1 minute, it is warm. Does it get hot to the point you will burn yourself? I don't think so, but it is hot. It takes a degree in naval navigation to manipulate this to get a clear image. I spent about 30 minutes, I saw about 5 seconds of clarity. Things keep popping up on the app, who knows what they do, keep pressing, good luck. The little appendages included to help clear wax, they do screw on tight, but they are plastic and flimsy, my guess is, with any rough contact, they will snap off. I contacted the chat line for help, worthless, no help at all. I believe the channel is somewhere in India and it is a group of people that answer questions on everything. They could not help me with this device. Would I buy again? Absolutely not. Shame on Amazon for selling this product. This is not the first worthless item I have purchased trusting written reviews. I am losing confidence in the system. I think it may be better to actually have stores with help where you can see and hold things before you buy. Amazon works for books, but even there you have to wonder who read the book and wrote the review. Bottom line, I wasted 30 some odd dollars, don't you do the same. Save your money and see an ENT specialist for your issues with ears, nose and throat. I would post a picture, somehow I captured one, but it is fuzzy as hell, then, as I tried to use the scope to get a better picture, the app froze. Good luck and thank you Amazon.

Always difficult understanding a review if you don't know how or who is using the device.I'm a medical professional, purchased this just to have in my bag. Had done a lot of reviews online of products and chose this one. I didn't have an immediate need for it, however I've used it several times already as its easy to use and gives a great picture. Upon arrival, nicely packaged feels like a quality tool.I had scoped my own ear, was easily able to navigate, take pictures, and actually recorded one pass to teach my med tech what a normal ear drum should look like. Video matched the images available in books/online or as viewed with a handheld otoscope, so I was impressed. Does this get hot...well if you're going to remove wax, it does get a little warm, I would recommend using the plastic tips they provide. I need to find a hard carrying case as the box is a little big for my bag, but other than that...everyone I show it to loves it.

I bought this because I was having some blockage in my ear and wanted to get to the bottom of it along with having something for continued maintenance of my ears. This thing is spot on for the money. Works great. Do not believe a couple of the reviews below that says the scraper comes off too easily. In the review video, (and after using the camera myself) you can clearly see she is doing it wrong. The scrapers and tools screw on. She is just trying to force them into the tip and probably damages the scrapers threads in the process. The attachments screw on and once screwed on they are very firmly attached. Cheers to a great product.

Product is easy to set up. It is sleek and looks good. The product comes with a lot of ear cleaning supplies.The focal length is approximately 1cm, which is too short to take a photo of the tympanic membrane. Photos still come out blurry. I have attached a photo of an ear. The photos must be taken with the ear scope completely pushed into the ear, and even then the photos appear to be somewhat blurry. The tip and handle get a little warm to touch during the day, but the temperature is painful.

I only got one use out if the product and the next time I went to use it the Software crashed and the new Software dies not show a picture after many attempts. Don't buy this product!

I could never get this product to connect to either of my iPhone 6 or 7. Removed and re-installed the app many times on the phones but no luck. Product indicator and phone wifi would always show that the wifi was connected but the phone app never did connect. I have previously purchased a DEPSTECH otoscope which worked great with my phone, but gave it to a relative that needed one. This one came with additional attachments that I thought would be handy. Perhaps I'll look for another DEPSTECH.

This is an honest review of this product.First let's start with the packaging. The item came in a very nice sleek black box. Inside there are 2 trays top tray houses the camera unit and the attachments and the bottom tray holds the charging cable and theses feather brushes all under a protective clear cover. Construction:construction of the camera unit is very solidly made. The whole casing is made of metal. Light weight and easy to hold. The design is very nice and classy. The camera is protected by the cap. You wouldn't even think this was a ear camera.Attachment:It comes with 12 attachments. 5 different scoop head, 1 spoon scraper , 2 different straight scrapers and 4 sponge scrapers. Each head has a different type of use. Each attachment screws on the top of the camera. Very easy to attach and stays on very securely.Accessories:4 feather brushes, micro USB charging cable, a protective cover.Instructions:Very easy to read. Very simple. All in english and straight forward and with diagrams.Ok now the pairing and the use.So the pairing is very simple. Just download the app. Open the app and it will prompt you to turn on the unit. Then it uses a wifi connection the you need to search for the "bebird" wifi signal. Once you are connected you just open the camera and you connected. It's very smooth and no lag. The light in the tip of the camera is bright. Using the camera with the attachments in your ear does take some practice but the functionality of the camera and heads is very good. Make sure to move very slow and small movements and that camera is magnified so a little movement is a big one on screen.App:The app is very easy to use. You can use it to control the camera to take a picture or video. You can adjust the picture to mirror or flip. It also tells you how much battery percentage and duration time of the camera.In the end I do recommend this product to other as I has tried the other brands and they don't have half as much accessories as this does. The functionality of this is easy to use and with practice you can get used to it.

Was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of this otoscope.Packaging: The device was packaged in a sleek black box. Once opened, the otoscope and all its attachments are visible and easy to access. Comparable to your handheld cellphone device packages from your favorite electronic companies.Ease of Use: All I needed to do was download the app and connect the device via its own internal wifi. Super quick and easy.Image Quality: Video image is very clear, proof of this? See attached photo, you'll see the tiniest hairs..in my ear. You can actually film and take photos of your specimen as well!Attachments: Now for the cleaning part, there are these little shovel attachments that you attach to the end of the lightsaber-like pen that you can use to scoop out any debris from your ears. Very handy for day to day use.Highly recommend anyone on trying this device. Would definitely make a great gift, I'm excited to purchase more for all our Christmas gatherings this year!

Device works perfectly. Instructions are crisp and clear.FYI :- The camera works with mobile app with wifi connectivity, i.e. the mobile will have to be wifi connected to this device alone while operating, wifi internet will not be available on the same phone at the same time.- While writing this review seen the app ratings on google play store, seems it is not working for many people. I have an Oneplus 6 256GB with OxygenOS v9.0.9 and it worked perfectly for me.- The LEDs and camera are right at the tip of the device, and you'll definitely feel the LEDs' heat pretty clearly against your ear after holding it against any part of it for a few seconds. So this is not really meant for prolonged use.- The battery indicator on the app shows about 60 minutes for 100% battery at the start. But after about 10 minutes of use the battery dropped to 79% so I'd say you can realistically expect about maybe 30~45 minutes of continuous usage.

Would give less than 1 star if could.Package and product itself look quite slick. Means nothing though as cannot get the Bebird App to recognize the connection to the camera. Tried on different Android devices but same outcome. The devices show a wifi connection to the camera hut the app will not recognize it. Contacted seller who first directed me to the Apple store to download their latest app (despite me clearly stating I was an android user) and then offered me the advice that j have to "turn off or forget" my own home wifi to be able to connect to the camera.Have initiated a return and this is not acceptable and have been unable to get suitable assistance from the seller. I'm surprised that more Amazon reviews don't mention similar ilar issue because the app reviews seem to.

Got it very quick since ordering. Seller help to setup the app very quick. Clear view of the camera, probably need some practices to grasp the skill of using it. There are four size of the picks in the package, which is good to chops the fit one for different people. Worth to try.
