Excellent book for those bit with the saltwater fly fishing bug like me. Awesome info on Skaggit technique, along with two handed standard tossing that no one else covers. Love the fact he approaches the sport from a Sociological perspective. Answers the 'why' in our saltwater edge souls. Fantastic job Nick!

Great book, Great resource
Great book. Everything was useful. Not a lot of fluff. I have read it several times. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about fly fishing the surf.

Not enough tackle and rigging tips for fly fishing. Critical tips are missing ( at least to me )
The book read well but I would have loved more if there more tackle and rigging tips in this book.

Good stories, not a lot of guidance/techniques
I may have had the wrong expectations going in. I loved the author's writing and stories, but it didn't have the know-how I was hoping to glean from the saltwater expert.
