USB Transcription Foot Pedal, 3 Function

It was a bit tricky to figure out the pedals for reversing when used with iTunes but overall it works great. Easy to set up. And if it stops responding just go into the vpedals app and reset to iTunes. It defaults to quick player when your computer turns back on. I am using it in a MacBook air

Works great with Quicktime videos on my Mac. Gave it four stars instead of five because (1) the USB connector is a little loose and seems as if it won't last very long; and (2) there were no instructions so every time I use it it's a trial and error process of "do I open Vpedal first or Quicktime? Do I have to unplug and replug?" and I click back a forth a bit before it gets going. But once it goes it's fine.

There were zero instructions packaged with the product. Had to hunt web for location to download software, and once that was done it still did not work for me so I returned it. The device is not very sturdy, just cheap plastic with the back open. The seller was prompt in replying to my request for refund, and claimed that no one had ever not had one work. On another negative note, my refund was substantially reduced because of a ~US$ 24 “restocking fee,” which I felt was excessive. Note to seller: it’s dinging buyers with fees like these (never in my extensive purchase history with Amazon have I been hit with one of those!) will lead to 1-star reviews like mine, and a warning to other buyers to avoid buying from your company.

The pedal functions decently and it is compatible with windows, no other encryption software necessary. The forward/reverse buttons are a but flimsy but it is useful overall.

It works as described

This works great. You have to hold down the pedal for it to play. It stops playing when you let go. A little weird alt first, but it sort of helps make sure you're paying attention. I was able to use it to code video using quicktime on a mac for my research study. It gets an A++

I use this for learning finger-style acoustic guitar from video, many which I made myself in workshops and lessons. The software (which you download from their web site) allows you to vary the playback speed all the way down to half normal without changing the pitch.This is very helpful when learning. A bit clunky looking but seems to be solid as a tank.

Needed a little help from the manufacture, wich was very quick and complete. I use it with Windows Media Player and it works great.
