Fabulous coffee
I have been a customer at their excellent family run Italian cafe in Russell Square in London for some time. This is the coffee that they serve there and is the nicest I've found in London anywhere, so much nicer than the big chain brands. The coffee is their own blend and has a really rich flavour, I've been buying it from the cafe for quite a while and now I have the convenience of having it delivered to my door! :)I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who enjoys quality coffee and I think the 1kg bag of beans is excellent value for money.

Wonderful full flavour.
My favourite coffee beans! An excellent full and well balanced flavour. After years of using beans from all countries and suppliers I came across these guys in Russell Square. A very friendly exchange led me finding this ample sized bag online. I now have their coffee at home and on my trips around the uk and abroad.

Delicious and very drinkable
This is one of the very best coffees I've come across - just the right balance, great taste in the mouth, pure enjoyment. I've had nothing but compliments from friends who've tasted it. Well worth the money. And if you happen to be in Bloomsbury and wander into the Caffe Tropea in Russell Square Gardens, do stop to enjoy a cup in its original home.

Satisfying
I have ordered various coffee beans trying to find the one. This is the one, having ordered this coffee several times now. Nice for espresso, latte etc. Not bitter all who have tried it liked this coffee. Try it for yourself.

Great tasting Italian coffee with a spoonful of nostalgia
I first tasted Caffè Tropea's tasty coffee at its cosy, family-run restaurant in Russell Square Gardens, London. This coffee is Italian in style, meaning it's bold and sweet. Rich and smooth. And each time I make my own coffee at home, it takes me back to sitting in the Bloomsbury sunshine, watching people come and go, sip after sip.

Faulty tin, fail of a purchase
Beans seemed to be dry, fresh ones look really different and have 'bit of oiliness' to them. Tropea beans unfortunately weren't oily at all and even after grinding had less of an intense 'fresh coffee' smell to it. The packaging/ tin had something wrong with the cap, its not screwing on tightly at all. The beautiful logo/label is just a sticker so for nearly 9 GBP coffee it's a bit of cheap looking. Just personal opinion, nothing else.

Lovely
It’s a gentle flavour and not bitter which is what I like - I enjoy drinking this coffee. My husband likes it but he doesn’t find it strong enough for an espresso. He agrees that it does make nice Plunging coffee / use for latte / use for Mocha.
